Remarks

The Admission process was simple. The admission is done through WBJEE and the university conducts its exam also which was conducted online and was fairly easy. If you appear for the exam then most probably they will take you in for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I wanted a degree in B.Tech so that I can further apply for various jobs and exams. There are around 70 students in a class and 2 or 3 teachers per subject. Faculty are quite educated and teaching method is somewhat average. The term exams are conducted very timely. But the exams are easy if you prepare even a week before sincerely, you can score good marks.

The companies come in 3rd and 4th year. The highest package this year was around 72 LPA and the average is around 4 LPA. Most of the students get placed. TCS, cognizant, and Wipro are the main companies that visit the campus lot of other companies visit too.

Fees and Financial Aid

I would say fees per semester are around 70000 and is quite high concerning other colleges. But the placement cell is good and the students do get placed. Internship opportunities are provided courses too but most of the students apply from outside the college.

Campus Life

Books are available in the library. library facilities are good, you can take 2 books at a time. There are two fests conducted each year. The sports events are good. Football cricket and badminton and basketball are organized. There are various clubs for extracurricular activities

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
