Remarks

Admission is through the CUET entrance test and is fully merit-based so no more changes are needed. Also, 1% reservation to girls in some courses are there so it also gives importance to social or women empowerment.

Course Curriculum Overview

Political science is a well-known department and it is Named Avaaam the faculties and the department overall are very best and one of the best among the DU Colleges teachers are very much cordial and supportive it is the best student support mechanism.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are there mainly in association with various ministries and think tanks and as the campus is providing exposure it helps students to get easily connected to the internship opportunities. These are varying benefits.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are provided from the final year only and students can get placed in various highly reputed companies. Specifically coming to political science discipline the placements are comparatively fewer.

Zakir Husain college is one of the colleges in DU which is having a very low and highly affordable fee structure that extends between the 8000 to 15000 range per year. In case of other financial support, ZHDC provides a fee refund scheme as well.

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .
