Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The reason why I chose philosophy is because ever since I was young I've always been curious and literally questioned everything without taking things for granted. Philosophy being a study of wisdom and why's will definitely help me in all aspects by enhancing critical reasoning, analyze concepts, give me a sound argumentation and deal with difficult questions that persists in modern society.

Internships Opportunities

3

The college has good intership and placements with Bajaj finserv,ICICI Bank and Genpact as the too recruiters which in my opinion is pretty good for an off campus college please keep in mind that there's more recruiters but as of now I only know these much

Placement Experience

3.5

So about the placements I've not received any info regarding philosophy honours but I'm sure the college gives internships and other minor courses for a reason so as to not waste our year studying only Philo coz some people eventually start having different interests in life

Fees and Financial Aid

So the total fees I'm paying is 13915 per semester and as of now I haven't availed any benefits yet because of the income my parents earn I really don't deserve the scholarship benefits however since I'm new to the college after getting on the third round of cuet college allocation further updates will be provided if needed

Campus Life

3.5

The environment is good but can get pretty rowdy during the student elections the campus is really big about 150 acres and over-all the people here are also nice everyone minds their own business which is a plus for introverts

Admission

So i got zakir hussain because I didn't get the other colleges I wanted hence unable to wait for the other rounds I applied for the mid entry and got zakir however the college was unexpectedly nice for an off campus college

Faculty

4

So as of now I've only attended two classes and the ge sec vac and aec haven't started yet as we're waiting for the allocation rounds to finish but the classes i attended on Indian philosophy was great ???? however at times it can get pretty noisy during the lectures as it's philosophy were allowed to voice our own opinions sometimes even shatter our own views to understand the pov of your fellow mates

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ba programe here is little different from other colleges accross the country. The curriculum is quite diversified. If you are intrested in arts , there is lot to learn. If one want to become writter or any thing related to literature , or want to become historian , geo-politics expert, etc. The course is quite good. The exams held every four and a half or five months and the difficulty level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like this course is about rights and authorities which is very important for everyone nowadays and specially when you are a girl so that nobody couldn't dominate you. We read about what were the past sceniors towards the lower castes or women which is also happens in most of the states and cities but this curriculum taught us whats the reality of the world and how to be independent and how to protest for our rights . Even we can more learn about this if the faculity organises those things via presentation or streamings with some videos so it will be more helpful in our exams too!!

English honours was my first preference because I like to read and write. Analysing texts is something I was always fond of and with the guidance of my professors it's become more fun. The course has not much placements opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not updated . Teachers uses old method of teaching on pen and paper. Like in statistics now various tools are available in market and instead of making us learn those tools teachers are teaching the most basic things on pen and paper. But the course is very demanding nowadays.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.
