One can get into MDI by giving the CAT examination. After the CAT students are shortlisted for the GD and PI rounds using an aggregate of their CAT score, 10th, and 12th marks, Graduation and Gender Diversity. Once shortlisted, students can appear for GD and PI rounds. If they clear this round they can join the college

I chose the PGPM course because I wanted to do General Management. I was inclined towards learning different aspects of business functions and their integrities. The teachers are good and friendly. The organization give more emphasis on overall development by providing opportunities for live projects, case competitions, and co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

Many companies visit during the internship ex: Amazon, BCG, McKinsey, Mondelez, Google, Microsoft, Accenture Strategy, ITC, Colgate Palmolive, Marico, Pidilite, and Asian paints. Every company has its own process but generally, the GD round is accompanied by 1 or 2 rounds of PI after CV shortlisting.

Students are eligible to sit during summer placements during 2nd semester. Final Placements are conducted in the month of November every year mostly during the 5th semester. Many reputed companies visit campus like McKinsey, AT Kearney, Colgate Palmolive, Accenture Strategy, Amazon, BCG, Google, ABG, ITC etc. MDI has 100% placements every year.

The fees paid are hefty but the overall opportunities are immense. ROI for MDI is good because of its successful and good placements. Many scholarships like OP Jindal and many others are provided worth 5lakhs, and 2 lakhs. Students can also win case competitions and get some money. Additionally, summer placements are good and 75% of the batch gets more 1than 1 lakh per month during a summer internship

Life at the campus is amazing. It is lively. There are so many clubs and committees one can be part of. MDI is known for its parties. Unnati is one well-known club in the B school community. It is a student-run Investment management and research group.

The hostel facility is good. The meals were tasty. There are various campus food places for students to have their meals. The registration process for the hostel was easy. It is affordable. The rooms aren't that high class but one can survive in those rooms.

My topic for GD was 'How the economy and stock markets are interlinked?' 'Indian Economy was badly hit due to COVID but the Indian stock markets like Sensex and Nifty were booming. The GD round was good. It didn't become a fish market. It was modulated by 2 panellists which were faculties of the college. I prepared for the rounds by reading newspapers, reading about current affairs from magazines, and YouTube
