Likes
- Food is very tasty and provided at proper times. It's freshly prepared and hygienic too and snacks are also provided.
- Very close to the airport, around 20mins drive.
- All sorts of e-commerce and quick commerce allowed and available.
Dislikes
- Rigour is okay, but feels quite forced at not only MDI, but all B-schools. It's also a very bad culture where seniors urge students to not take proper rest/sleep. We must collectively work to end this disgusting cycle.
- Lack of stationery shops/lackluster grocery store within the campus.
- Snacks/food stalls have overpriced food stuffs.
Placement Experience:
They are good, with top companies visiting MDI for placements and the 40 year alumni base across the world is also beikg leveraged. Student driven process also makes the process robust and dynamic.
My plans after degree are to work for 5 years in equity research and then open my own business.

- Peer group - High cutoffs for CAT and GMAT and prior educational and work experience
- Placement support - provided for both summer placements and final placements and the college attracts renowned recruiters

- Placement Committee - Biased towards internal members
- Courses offered - Options for electives on the basis of specialisation are quite less for a Tier 1 college
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for final placements from the 5th term onwards. The placements can last upto 2-3 months.
Major companies recruiting from the college are - Accenture Strategy, Deloitte, Everest Group, Coca-Cola, ITC, Flipkart, Amazon, Microsoft, Telstra and the batch of 320 was signed out. (320 students placed, around 10 recieved multiple offers)
The highest package was offered by a start-up called Motorq (60 LPA CTC)
The average package was 24 LPA for the PGDM batch.
My plans after getting placed is to work on digital products and work in Founders staff role or product management and drive impactful initiatives.

- The canteen, college life, sharma ji and jha ji parathe, alot of events.
- Fests, college events, professors, the instructure is also beautiful
- The course curriculum is very relevant and the placements are also good
Dislikes
- 1.5 hours of class because the attention span is very less for humans
- Too much construction is being done right now spoiling the scenic beauty
- Induction process is very tough so that could be improved
Placement Experience:
Placements are pretty good. From october that is 4th sem end the placement season starts and the companies like Amazon, Cipla, GSK, Deloitte and etc such MNCs come. There is 100% placements. The highest package is 60lakhs and average is 25lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is to do job

Quite supportive and sparsely spread industry of companies visiting the campus ranging from Sales, Marketing, Operations, Consulting, Product etc.
Evenly distributed spectrum of salary ranges that facilitate good numbers

- I liked the curriculum of my program. Also the hostel are decent.
- Many big brands come to campus for final placement.
- Faculty is experienced and they hold a good amount of knowledge about the course they are teaching.
Dislikes
- The life is very fast here you can't get into depth of a subjects here.
- Attendance policy is very strict. Below 80% attendance in class students get grade docks
- The college gym is not well equipped with machines. Machine operated here are pretty old.
Placement Experience:
The internship companies starts coming to campus with in one month of entering the college. Most of the students gets PPO those who don't get PPO are allowed to sit for final placements. The final placements starts in 5th semester. 100% of batch is placed. There are plenty of oppurtunities in market after completing business analytics course.

Placement Experience:
We have our summer internship process in September and once you are placed, you'll be required to do your internship in April-May-June of the next year. The avg SIP this year was 2,82,000 for 2 months which is basically 1,40,000 per month.
The highest stipend stood at 2,00,000 per month and the lowest at 75,000 per month.
All the students get placed. So if you are worried that you are not good enough, no need to worry, you'll also be placed at a very good stipend.

Course Curriculum Overview:
It is one of the top-ranked B schools which have three specializations.
All the faculties have diverse experience across sectors, it has a comprehensive curriculum and a robust alumni network and corporate partners, which helps students excel in different fields.

- The course is well designed, with ample of resources in the library and labs to enrich oneself.
- The campus is a beautiful place with lots of facilities to play different sports and also to spend idle time
- The location of the college is at the center of the city which makes commuting to any part very easy
Dislikes
- The class hours are too long considering they go over 90 minutes with a strict attendance policy
- The facilities in the old hostels need to be improved considering the fees paid
- Although the food of the mess is good and there are canteens in the campus, there needs to be present more options to eat for student considering when it comes to eating healthy food.
Placement Experience:
MDI, Gurgaon being in the top 10 b-schools of India, offers 100% placements to all its students. The students are offered a summer internship after the end of the first year and it is in the last semester that a student gets placed. There are over 90 companies that visit the college for offering placements and the average placement ranges around 28.5 lacs.

Is MDI GURGAON a good option for an MBA executive program?

MDI Gurgaon is a great choice for an executive MBA program and is at par with other top-tier schools like IIM A, B, C, L, IIFT, FMS, XLRI, and IIT Delhi DMS. The 3-year executive MBA program for working professionals is extremely good, with the same course and faculty as that of the full-time one-year executive MBA and two-year full-time residential MBA program. It's an excellent institute and is even better than some of the newer IIMs.
However, it's important to note that the fees for the 3-year executive MBA program at MDI Gurgaon have increased enormously over the last few years and are almost 10 lakhs. If you're looking for other options, IIM Lucknow's Noida campus also offers a similar 3-year executive MBA program with fees of Rs 10 lakhs, and classes are held on weekends and weekdays.
IIFT Delhi is another option that offers a similar 3-year executive MBA program with fees of Rs 6.5 lakhs and classes on weekends. IIT Delhi also offers a similar 3-year executive MBA program with fees of Rs 4.10 lakhs, with classes on weekdays. FMS Executive MBA has fees of Rs 1 lakh only.
It's important to choose your education loan wisely, especially when considering the high fees for some of these programs. Make sure to do your research and compare the options before making a decision.

Most of the people have suggested that overall all the three colleges are good and you will not be facing any problem if you take admission in any one of them. The NITIE College is good operations management, MDI is good for General management and Human resource management and IIFT is good for International trade. So, it depends upon you which branch you are interested in.
The overall reviews of these colleges are as follows:
MDI:
- This college is fairly consistent in getting top 10 rankings.
- There are various kinds of live projects in the college which will help you in understanding the working culture in the corporate industry. Some of this live project will also allow formulating business strategies.
- You will be having access to great infrastructure such as Bloomberg terminal and EuroMonitor database.
- Along with the vibrant campus you will also be getting right guidance from Professors like Prof Bakshi , Prof Chatterjee and Prof. Mitra who will help you in getting the right path.
- You will also be getting great placement opportunities in various fields.
NITIE:
- Operations management in this college is very good.
- It is located in Mumbai and because of this location that will get lots of live projects in the industries.
- The college also provides good placement in the field of supply chain management, operations management, etc.
- This college also has a good alumni base. There is not much flexibility in the placements and the rest depends upon you.
IIFT Kolkata:
- It is one of the greatest colleges with economics and trade as its pillars.
- If you are looking for branches like international business and operations management then this is the best college.
- There is a slight disadvantage between Kolkata and Delhi branches but the placements in both locations are similar.

Overall IIFT-K is only good for trade and economics. For placements in finance, marketing and consulting roles MDI is a much better college than IIFT K and for operations management, NITIE is the best.
