While many might have drawn several general comparisons between the institutes, my answer will target only one aspect which is your work experience. How long did it take you to recover the fees paid for PGPM of MDI Gurgaon?

I asked a friend about the time it took him to pay back the loan he had taken to pursue PGDM at MDI Gurgaon. An estimate revealed 5-7 years. However this is subject to change as not everyone receives the same package. Currently, MDI Gurgaon PGDM fees is ?23.47 Lakhs. On comparing this with the average package INR 26.65 LPA, we can say that the fees can be easily paid within 5 years time considering the interest and additional expenses. But tell me is getting an equivalent package the only way to recover the fees. Is it not recovered through the knowledge you have gained, the various experiences and the gateway to success. One can never repay back the fees in reality.

MDI, Gurgaon - a Solid 4 Star B-School

Fees and Financial Aid:

I think the fees of every MBA college has increased along with its batch size. This is disappointing, considering the fact that the job market has been abysmal. The fee hike for the 2 years (incl. hostel+food) @ MDI has been approx 1 lakh rupees. While I am unaware of the exact scholarship claiming avenues available at MDI, I think need-based scholarships are available here and on other sources. I think that the fees across HR and PGDM is the same, while PGDM IB is costly, with the iverall wxpenses lying between 40-45 lakhs range.

Courses offered - Options for electives on the basis of specialisation are quite less for a Tier 1 college

Total program fees paid for PGDM (2 year course) from 2022-2024 was 24,00,000 INR. The fees is same irresepctive of the category of student. There are scholarships provided on the basis of Merit (calculated on the basis of CGPA) and merit cum need. There are 2 other programs - PGHRM, and PGDM-IB. The fees for PGHRM is the same as PGDM (24 Lakh INR for the full course). The fees for PGDM-IB (International Business) is around 30 Lakh INR (other additional components like Visa, and hostel fees for the International college are seperate). Hostel / stay fees is not included in this. The total program fees covers all components like Tuition fees, security deposit, hostel fees, educational resources fees for PGDM and PGHRM. For these 2 courses, the fees is paid in 2 installments (paid at the time of admission and at the commencement of 2nd year).

The course is well designed, with ample of resources in the library and labs to enrich oneself.

The facilities in the old hostels need to be improved considering the fees paid

I had to avail of an education loan to complete my diploma from MDI, G. Recently starting in 2022, the institution increased its fees for PGDM and PGMD HR to 23.47 lacs from 21 lacs. The course fees for IB range somewhere around 30 lacs and also saw a 2.5 lacs increase. The stipend for internships obtained through the summer program lies somewhere around an average of 2.7 lacs.

Summer Internship for PG' 22.

The fee is hiked by 10% this year taking the total fees for the PGDM flagship program to 23.5 lakhs for two years. Financial assistance is offered to the EWS category where 50% of the fees is waived off for top 10 students in that category.

MDI - a summary

The fee got hiked this year to about 25 lakhs. Merit cum Means scholarship is given to students who come from economically weaker backgrounds of annual income < 8 lakhs. Other scholarships include the TWF, etc.

Strict Curriculum

MDI Gurgaon offers a variety of scholarships and financial aid options for students. These can include need-based scholarships, merit-based scholarships, and loans from financial institutions. The recent fees have been pushed to Rs 23,75,000 for PGDM, and PGDM-HR for the complete tenure of the course. The recent placements make the ROI of the courses provided to be much more efficient. The average package has become at par with few of the best B-Schools in the country.

The fees paid are hefty but the overall opportunities are immense. ROI for MDI is good because of its successful and good placements. Many scholarships like OP Jindal and many others are provided worth 5lakhs, and 2 lakhs. Students can also win case competitions and get some money. Additionally, summer placements are good and 75% of the batch gets more 1than 1 lakh per month during a summer internship

"MDI, Gurgaon" Review

The total tuition fees for the whole program including all other expenses are around 21+ lakhs. Students are provided with scholarships and financing options like O.P. Jindal Scholarships etc. Loan options are also available for students who need it and college helps in the same. Stipend could be earned through internships opportunities.

"MDI Gurgaon" detailed review

The 2 years complete fee is above 20 lakhs, but it is pretty worth it. The fee hike policy is around 50,000-1,00,000 every year. There are a few government scholarships available. The college also provides scholarships to students whose family income is less than 6 lakhs. Students can apply for scholarships such as the O.P. Jindal Scholarship, International Scholarships, MDI Scholarships, and others. Financially disadvantaged groups might get educational bank loans to finish their courses.
