My College Experience

College Management is very conscious of its image so any severe act of indiscipline can lead to placement related punishment or year back or even termination in case of very serious offence.

There are 6 Terms in two year of internship with 2 months of internship. Good part was it gave industry exposure by connecting with industry leaders. It also helped me groomed myself by almost everyday presenting before professors. Managing and running the Club also helped in developing leadership quality.

There was 100% percent placement in my College. Recuritors were from all areas of Industry. Marketing- HUL, Godrej, P&G, Paytm, Airtel, Vodafone Finance: Axis Bank, Yes bank, Citi, Kotak, JP Morgan Consulting: Mackinsey, Bain, KPMG, Deloitte, PWC, E&Y, IBM, Accenture

Illumina-Diwali festival where lots of vendors were invited and Musical Night Sanskriti: Cultural festival like Saraswati Puja and Ganesh puja Imperium: Annual Feast, it is a grand event in our college. there are sports activities and students from different colleges are invited

Yes Fee break up is transparent. The Fee is in line with what leading IIMs charge.It's slightly expensive.I opted for international program in 2014, that time fee was 18 Lakh. Currently it went up and is around 22 lakh. Financing from bank is not a issue.one can get at base rate of bank which is currently 8.5%

No, I have paid the full fee. Generally, there is no provision for scholership.Loan facility is anyways available without any collateral

Gender ratio I will say boy vs girl is 70-30. Generally MDI has very open culture, Girls are allowed to visit boys hostel.So they can work together on assignment, common mess for boys and Girls. However boys are not allowed to go to girls hostel. Also, The student are usually from decent family background with 30% of them comes from affluent class.In general it's a good mix

Yes.It is twin sharing and in some hostel it was 4 sharing.There is no seperate fee.it is included in the total college fee There no problem in getting hostel room. The room are of good quality and cleaning is done properly in room by staff

Yes, Alums are actually helpful I meet one of my Alumni in Spain during my foreign exchange.He helped me in finding good short term internship of 15 days in his company

I had good percentile in CAT around 96. I applied to MDI before the exam, so I clear the cut off which was around 94 percentile. For Admission there was Group discussion and personal interview was there. Basis my performance in GD and PI, and my CAT percentile, they started publishing the name in confirm or waiting list. First time I got waitlisted, but when second round list was released, I got Confirmed offer from College. I also got offers from other colleges like IMI Delhi, IIT Roorkhee,FORE school of management. So MDI being best offer for me, I choose it over other colleges.

There were around 6-7 lecturers in every term with a mixed of age group. The professor were of age 35-60 years of age. Professors in operation department were six Sigma certified with industry experience. Marketing faculty were also having rich experience in FMCG Industry.
