Remarks

To apply for this course you must qualify jee mains with a decent percentile. You can apply for jee mains online. Keep a check on the site of nta. the application fee for jee mains is 650 rupees. to avail reservation, we have to submit the obc certificate online. the admission process is quite good.

I chose this course because I had it as an option and I was more inclined toward GATE. faculty to student ratio is quite good .faculties are well qualified and some of them have done their Ph.D. from renowned colleges. term exams are quite moderate.

Internships Opportunities

internship in non-core branches is quite good. core branches face having fewer internship opportunities. in the civil branch till now four to five students have taken internships in companies like axxela , etc.

Placement Experience

placement is the main attraction of the college. we have very good placements in all core as well as non-core branches .in the civil branch almost 90 percent of the student get placed with an average package of 9 lakh. the highest package till now for this year is 28 lakh. I have decided to take placements after college.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees in this college are quite reasonable. most of the student's avail of fee remission and they provide the rest of the fees on their own or by taking loans. our college has a very good placement with a good average package.

Campus Life

campus-like is nice. we have our annual sports fest called urja . urja has high voltage competition between the different branches. we have the tech fest ojass and cultural fest culvert. library of the college is quite big and we have a galore of books which we can issue. sports is just ok type in college. our college also has various clubs such as Invicta, beat breakers, aahwahan , etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
