Sachin Singh's Review On JIS University, Kolkata

I appeared in JIS online Entrance Examination conducted by our University.By Clearing this Entrance University authority to conduct a personal interview.After that in the Admission 45% marks is necessary.Candidates must be a Graduate in Science stream in branch of life science or allied fields.

Most enjoyable event for me in this University is fresher's party. It is one of the biggest and most important events on campus. Every year students are welcomed into the JIS family with a bash. Lively music, special performances and Mr and Mrs freshers are some of the highlights of the program. College foundation day also one of the interesting event on our college campus.

Almost all students got scholarships.We can take educational loan also for our further study.And return it in installments.Candidates who get above 75% marks in H.S receive 20,000 INR.Reserved category candidates also get scholarships.There is also provision for scholarships for National and International players.

Our college has few seminar halls and one big Auditorium.Events organized in that places.I enjoyed mostly events like annual sports day. Our University gave me a chance to play inter-college football competition, where we got the first prize. This is my most memorable day of our college.Saraswati puja also celebrated on the University campus.

The hostels of the University are spacious, furnished rooms available on twin sharing basis with attached washrooms. There are 24×7 security guard and restriction of outsiders entry without permission. The facility has Wi-Fi premises with excellent speed and bandwidth. Mess food is also good. Various cuisines are available on every Sundays.

I am a member of College Alumni Association. We try to make arrangements for Alumni get-together. And sometimes successfully conducts this event. It is a program full of entertainment. Alumni are very helpful and encouraging for us when we were students.
