Remarks
Maths is required in class 12. Economics is a core submit and English is compulsory. Everything is available on the Delhi University portal. Everything is appropriate and no changes are required. Merit-based admission is the best.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was keenly interested in economics and want to pursue a career in research and analysis. The student ratio is 50:50. The faculty is highly educated and the teaching method is appropriate. There is some language barrier between the teachers and students otherwise it's alright. It is not difficult to pass but the semester is of 3 months instead of 6 months. This makes it hard for students to pass exams.
Internships Opportunities
The leading solution, Zomato, Avant-garde offered roles like sales, marketing, and human resource. There are no jobs for research and analysis or finance sector for students. More research-based jobs are to be provided.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are provided at the beginning of 3rd year. Companies like Zomato, Avant-garde, and the leading solutions visit our college. The highest package is 10lakh and the average is 3 lakh. Profiles offered are mainly in sales, digital marketing, and human resource. 20% are placed. My plan after my degree is to apply for masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is okay but living expenses are too much . The rent prices are too high in south campus thus leads to high costs for students . Scholarship is given in college fees . Stipend is too less and jobs are not up to the mark.
Campus Life
We haven't seen any fests yet. It is said that fests happen in February or March so waiting for next year. Books are not in good number. They are quite less compared to students. The classrooms are fine. Extracurricular activities do happen in college. Abvp, Nsui , sfi are Student unions formed by students for students.
