Entrance Preview

Entrance Exam WBJEE Rank 48000. It is one of the average college with a very good infrastructure. With the rank I got I have to choose some averge college only and this is best I got.

Course Curriculum Overview

It follows West Bengal University of Technology Curriculum. 30-40% of the faculties are good. And I believe all colleges have same set of faculties. Just most of teachers were not fluent in English. So for Non-Bengali Students, it will be difficult to understand.

Internships Opportunities

No, We have to arrange ourselves. If they have some tie-ups with institutes, they will charge some fees.

Placement Experience

For CSE, IT, ECE, only one company came for on-campus interview, TCS - 50 students. For Mechanical and Production, Many pool campus happened and lots of students got placed but everyone got package around 10k-15k per month.For Electrical, Nothing good happened.

College Events

Every year they celebrate foundation day, organised by mostly 3rd years student. Second year students celebrates Saraswati Puja. Third Year students also organises Vishwakarma Puja. It is one of the best event we celebrated.Also fourth year celebrates. College Fest named Pulse. But it does not happen every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

They have lots of scholarship but I have not availed any of those. They use to provide 10 students 50% discount of the tuition fees.

Alumni/Alumna

There is nothing called alumni though there is unit for the name sake. Yeah but seniors are quite ok. Again it depends on how is your relation with them.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

The eligibility criteria for this course is that you should be 12th pass with the average 60% marks in physics, maths, chemistry. Or else you should have done polytechnic and then you can apply for this course. You can find the application form in the college as well as on the website of college portal as well. The application form fees is 500rs only and after that you have to pay the registration fee of 5000rs and along with the first semester fee and some other categories fees which will cost you around 42,000rs. Admission process is very easy not so much complicated and it is also with very less paperworks.
