College environment is of top notch as it has good sports facilities and the environment beside campus is clean composed community.

Dislikes

Labs are not upto the point to work upon

Admission:

You can also take admission through wbjee and it's mandatory to eligible to take admission. Exams are all conducted by makaut and this is the most irrespective and stupid conducters of semester as they doesn't maintain 6months gap for semester vast amount of syllabus less time and they don't have any weightage of chapters just they ask questions from anywhere from where they wish and this lead to less marks for students but they are very strict as every classes have cctv cameras installed there itself.

The experience of IMPS College of Engineering and Technology

Likes

The location of the college is in a serene location and peaceful environment prevails.
The campus and the campus ground for sports is the best thing.

Dislikes

The area was really filled with loads of insects in the evening.

Admission:

The application process was basically WBJEE and the seats were alloted by the counselling process that was held centrally by the WBUT. After confirming the seat in the counselling process then a recomendation letter was issued and that letter was presented to the college and basis of that admission was given. Any valid rank in AIEEE or other state level entrance exam was also considered for other candidates for profile based selection and admission to the college.

Admission:

Positive remarks are that there not giving up any vacant class if any subject teacher is absent in place that teacher there sending any other teacher to take classes on and also one negative point is that college is starting from 9 a. m to 5 p. m so I am personally having difficulty to attend the college I have to wake up earlier and have to take the train of 7 a. m and again returned by 6 a. m train.

Placement was very poor, MNC companies were not visited in our college on that time, but few MNC like Infosys, satyam off compassing had been arranged on that time, but normally maximum fake companies were visited on that time 90 % fake companies. I also cracked 2 companies but both were fake at the end.

Placement in my college is more than fake and more company the college called for interview are bpo and there is no branch based company so student get frusted what type of placement opportunity is provied to student. Some fake company also come for interview and student are cheated being selected.
