Remarks

The candidate applying should have a graduation degree from an accredited University with a minimum of 50% marks. There is an entrance exam of objective type and the candidate has to meet the institute's cutoff marks to get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I have to prepare for UPSC CSE. while studying History at graduation I developed a keen interest in the subject and decided to go ahead with this as my optional subject in the UPSC CSE Mains examination. The teacher-student ratio was 1:30. the classes were not very crowded and the professors used to pay attention to every individual student. The professors were some very highly qualified academicians with vast knowledge of the subject and their teaching methods were also very dynamic. It was a two-year course and every year there was a year-end examination and one internal assessment. The final examination was on the tougher side and one needs to study hard to qualify and score more than 50 marks.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 5400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee here is very nominal. For my course, it was just 5400/yearly. I didn't opt for any scholarships. The campus job opportunity is great when it comes to humanities subjects since colleges don't provide job opportunities in these subjects.

Campus Life

The Jamia fest is named TEDx. They organize seminars and lectures by signatories from various fields who are quite knowledgeable and helpful. The canteen is okay but the greenery around the campus is calming. Many societies and activities are happening around the campus all-over the year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For the course i must say that this is something everyone needs to study about even if it's for just a part. We have ethics, moral, cultural relativism and etc. In our syllabus and it all really help to make our thinking rational, to see World from that point of view from where one can see the clarity. It's really necessary for improvement in personality and making good decision. I think there's need for making this course more practical like teaching, we can teach students about essentials of philosophy for there betterment of decision making from an early age.

First of all. Jamia millia is not an college. Its an central university. And i choose it because of their faculty and infrastructure and also for that jamia has 4th top university among all indian university in NIRF rankings. But i also applied for maulana azad college delhi (MAMC) because of its top ranking medical college. But jamia is now good. Admission process:- Eligibility:- you have to crack NEET exam conducted by NTA. After result you have to participate in counseling and in choice filling process you have to apply for this college at mcc portal. Then if you allot jamia millia islamia university delhi then you have to come jamia campus for Admission process. Totally offline process. Also jamia have options for B.Tech; polytechnic, BSc , BA, MA, architect courses but i know in detail only about my medical field.
