Course Curriculum Overview

There is good curriculum that influence my decision to choose bds courses... I want to complete my dentist from here and then mds from aiims .. I am to young to give suggestions about curriculum improvement.. There should be interactive lecture..

Internships Opportunities

After completing fourth year there is one year rotatory paid internship... In which we will get 30k per month.. Which is incredible.. We have to work in departmental hospital and okhla nsic which is typed with our college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our college is 41k including all the things... I am not eligible for any scholarship.. The fees is not so high so that we can compensate.. Jamia is good college so that there is no problem any more

Campus Life

There is a lot of extra curricular activities inside jamia millia islamia.. Foundation day celebration is outstanding.. Sports complex, central library, central canteen etc... There is central library which is one of the largest library of Asia.. And departmental library also..

Admission

What I searched for bds college.. One thing come in my mind,thre is good ranking college and should be in Delhi ncr that's why I joined jamia millia islamia bds... There is lot of patients flow... Enough time to practice... My 1st. Wish if I get moulana Azad it should be better bcz there minimum fees..

Faculty

There is 1 faculty on 10 students.. There is also mentor mentee program for ug beginning students.. The anatomy faculty dr ponam patnayak ma'am is my favourite teacher.. Her teaching style is awesome.. There is 3 internal assessment and then final proof..

Night Life

There is well furnished gym in hostel.. There is departmental cafeteria in which we enjoy tea and snacks.. There is problem in hostel because very little hostel in jamia millia islamia.. Only 10 percent student get hostel rest of students have to stay in pg..

Placement Experience:

From third year student can practice their privately. But officially jamia provides 8 months internship program for medical student and also for other courses. Recently jamia pay an intern approx 31000? per month for internship. Almost 70% students got easily placement in jamia. My plan after getting degree I'll go for masters in dental in i wants to become an MDS oral surgeon.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to do MBBS.My score in neet UG was 607 but the cut off was too high so I decided to go for BDS and I wanted to do it from the top college of India and it led me to choose MAIDS. BDS is a very challenging course but at the end it pays well. Bds not only involves study about dental anatomy/histology/pathology but we also get to study about general anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology etc. So overall the curriculum is quite interesting if you are already interested in medicine. We have three exams in first year, two internals and a professional exam. The exams are quite difficult

First of all. Jamia millia is not an college. Its an central university. And i choose it because of their faculty and infrastructure and also for that jamia has 4th top university among all indian university in NIRF rankings. But i also applied for maulana azad college delhi (MAMC) because of its top ranking medical college. But jamia is now good. Admission process:- Eligibility:- you have to crack NEET exam conducted by NTA. After result you have to participate in counseling and in choice filling process you have to apply for this college at mcc portal. Then if you allot jamia millia islamia university delhi then you have to come jamia campus for Admission process. Totally offline process. Also jamia have options for B.Tech; polytechnic, BSc , BA, MA, architect courses but i know in detail only about my medical field.
