Course Curriculum Overview

4

BDS course has lot of opportunities in future. Just like i wants to be an oral surgeon. Which has so much salaried and very humble profession. I think polytechnic department need to some discipline. Our classes starts from 22 sept and our first internal exam is on 8 December and next will be on February and so on with the gap of 2 months till july. Papers are quite top level and little bit tough but not much difficult. Questions have their best understanding approach.

Internships Opportunities

4

WHO and indian health organization also offers mostly jamia's students for medical. Also other top companies offers jamia's students like engineering, BA in foreign language and also for tourist guide and philosopher department. Students regularly make their projects and tasks as their qualities.

Placement Experience

4

From third year student can practice their privately. But officially jamia provides 8 months internship program for medical student and also for other courses. Recently jamia pay an intern approx 31000? per month for internship. Almost 70% students got easily placement in jamia. My plan after getting degree I'll go for masters in dental in i wants to become an MDS oral surgeon.

Other students has also same fee and i love jamia.

Campus Life

5

When i was here in my admission time. Jamia is celebrating its 105th foundation day. And it's just awesome. Jamia always allows functions and extra sports activities almost 2-3 times in month. Fresher parties, sports, ethletics, archery and so on. Jamia also provide us gym facilities for sports students. Some studetns have their social media page which offering you to explore jamia's exploration.

Admission

First of all. Jamia millia is not an college. Its an central university. And i choose it because of their faculty and infrastructure and also for that jamia has 4th top university among all indian university in NIRF rankings. But i also applied for maulana azad college delhi (MAMC) because of its top ranking medical college. But jamia is now good. Admission process:- Eligibility:- you have to crack NEET exam conducted by NTA. After result you have to participate in counseling and in choice filling process you have to apply for this college at mcc portal. Then if you allot jamia millia islamia university delhi then you have to come jamia campus for Admission process. Totally offline process. Also jamia have options for B.Tech; polytechnic, BSc , BA, MA, architect courses but i know in detail only about my medical field. Cutoff:- our neet 2025 cutoff for enrollment in jamia is approx 37k-38k all india rank.

Faculty

5

Our 1st year batch has almost 15 faculties. Its means alot. Because jamia has faculty rich university. 15 faculties on 50 students is too good. I like most our anatomy proff. Named Dr. Poonam patnaik. She done their mbbs from AIIMS delhi. Its very good thing about our maa'm. And there are no any faculty which i dislike. I love all of them. They are literally very cool and hold their understanding personality for students. They guide us and love us.

Night Life

5

Jamia has largest canteen area known as central canteen. Jamia have its many canteen in diffrent departments. Library is open till 2am. You can read newspaper, notes etc. I would like to say that jamia has largest Library carring 3 lakh+ books. Jamia has best gardens inside campus and jamia university is location on the place where all delhi's most places of tourism is approx nearest like humayun tomb, kutubminaar, lotus temple.

The course is vast and extensive but it may feel that it lacks recent information and developments in dentistry as dentistry is fast and ever evolving. The course does prepare us for future academic pursuits but does need revision to make it more relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to do MBBS.My score in neet UG was 607 but the cut off was too high so I decided to go for BDS and I wanted to do it from the top college of India and it led me to choose MAIDS. BDS is a very challenging course but at the end it pays well. Bds not only involves study about dental anatomy/histology/pathology but we also get to study about general anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology etc. So overall the curriculum is quite interesting if you are already interested in medicine. We have three exams in first year, two internals and a professional exam. The exams are quite difficult
