Remarks

My Cut off was 13000 ranking through, I found the application online and it was free and the date was before December 31st. I belong to 2A R OBC is an available reservation for me. no improvement is been required for the admission process.

I choose this course because this course had a high demand in this generation and it was the most trending and had very much scope. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:60. the teaching of the faculty is very good There are 2 internals per sem and if one sees the exam it's easy to pass

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 100000 per annual and there is no hike in the cost of study The name of the scholarship that I got from the Karnataka government called STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME it gave me rupees 18000 rupees only

Campus Life

There are lots of fests conducted in our college every 2 months and it represents our social culture etc books are available and the library is accessible till evening and books are of good quality the classroom has a projector and good benches sports are been encouraged and good courts are available social groups are the main heart of the college eg: NSS, STARDUST, SATELLITE TEAM

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
