Remarks

If you have scored more than 85% in 12th (for OBC and General) then you'll be eligible. Every year DU takes Upto 50000 admission. And Forms are available every year for every category from June Apr-June month. Application free 150Rs.If you have categories like SC Nd ST then you'll have a lot of opportunities during admission time.No improvement Are Required during Admission to DU.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course opens a lot Of opportunities for the students. because It includes many Interesting subjects which require a Better CV. The faculty of my Department was very Good Nd experienced. Professors are Ph.D. Qualified Nd has a wide knowledge of the particular subject. There are 150 students in my Department. The course was easy and interesting. Exams have occurred timely.

Internships Opportunities

Business Development Executive, Sales Nd Marketing Executive, Robotics Etc. Are some internship programs u can pursue here. You have to give your 6 months in it. After that, they will provide you with a Certificate you can apply for anywhere.

Placement Experience

In the 5th semester, you'll eligible for campus Placement. Wipro, TCS Etc many companies visited our college. The highest package in my college was 8.5 lakh from Bsc ( electronic Hons) course. And Minimum u can get Up to 3 lakh. It depends on the students how they perform. Around 10% of students get placement every year. I have to pursue an MBA course so I'm preparing for that.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the course was 18000 per year. Every year college gives a scholarship to a student (there were some criteria). Scholarship amt.10000, I have done my Internship of 6 months availed from College. You will get many Benefits during your study.

Campus Life

The college conducts a fest every year where there comes many singers celebrities etc. The library is so cool Nd contains each Nd every book u want for Ur course. The classroom is so good in infrastructure with Air conditioning. You can play any sports in this college. A separate building of it built on this campus. There are many societies u can join to Ur Improvement Of skills

Life at LSR as a Maths Student

Placement Experience:

We become eligible for placements in our third year (so the fifth semester). We can sit for internships before that. Many prestigious companies visit our campus, including McKinsey, HUL, BCG, BlackStone, BlackRock etc. The highest package offered in DU history is from our college (and my course!) which was 48.9 lakh p/a by BlackStone to a student in Batch of 2024. The average package is 10.5 lakh p/a. There were 215 final placement offers. My plans after the degree are to enter the world of finance or consulting, hopefully. I am also open to higher studies or an MBA. Maths H keeps a lot of doors open.

placement in science courses are very rare however almost all student of science courses do get internship at Sri Vipra [a research unit of sri venkateshwara college, delhi university] and some other institute including AIIMS, JNU etc. most of them opt for higher studies or prepare for Govt exams. people from commerce and economics ido get placed but not all.

Practical approach towards future: Ramanujan College

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship in the first year or the second year itself, and for the placement, the student can sit in the third year onwards. Students are eligible to sit for placement after having a significantly higher attendance, good score and a great practical resume. as far as I have observed, most of the job offers are around 4 to 5 LPA. There are a number of companies that hire from the college and the students can also apply off campus if they have a good CV. Many small and big companies higher from here, for example ferns and petals, Deloitte, bookMyShow, accenture and many more. The highest, and the lowest packages have not been disclosed clearly, and the percentage of students has also not been declared clearly. As far as I know the placement rate is pretty decent If the person has a good resume, which can be anything around 70 to 80%. My plans after getting the degree are not crystal clear to me, but I plan on doing masters in the same field from a good university, maybe abroad and then make a career ahead. Meanwhile, I also plan on doing several internships to build my resume and learning both hard and soft skills.

I really like this course as it's a multidisciplinary course that opens a wide variety of fields for me to pursue and choose my interest.I choose these course on the suggestion of my senior and some google searches. During my time, i applied for uptu also and get college in Lucknow but i join Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi because of university, college location, course structure and exposure. I not applied any other college. During my time 12 percentage (best of 4 subjects) is entrance and cutoff is approx 95% for general, 93% for obc, 90% for sc and 85% for st but now the change the pattern and need to write CUET exam. The Admission process was easy for me just because i've searched alot about everything. Let me tell you everything you need to know: First of all if you've already decided about what you're going to do in future and have decided which course you want to opt to then half of the work is already done. If you haven't just take your time or ask for suggestions fromm others or research. Secondly , As i say about my college which comes under Delhi University , it takes the Exam of CUET and based upon its marks hey give the admission. CUET consists of many subjects and courses according to the college or program you want to apply. You can find the Link on Google for the CUET exam , the application fees and dates changes accordingly every year.
