Remarks

For getting admission in this course Minimum of 50% aggregate in Undergraduate degree in any discipline (with min 24 credits in Physics) from any recognized University in India or abroad in the respective subject. Apply directly to the official website of Adamas University AUAT Online Test whose link was provided through registered mail after the application has to be given for getting admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did B. Sc Physics (Hons) an undergrad, so I chose M.Sc Physics in P.G Program (2021-2023). Current Student count - 5, Faculty members - 5 (Specialized teachers for respective papers) All teachers have doctorates in respective fields including Condensed Matter Physics, Theoretical Nanoscience, High Energy Physics, Nuclear, and Particle Physics, and help students with their academic curriculum very well also mentors help students on regular basis for better student-teacher interaction. Exams were always on time, and students had no problems during online exams during the lockdown phase. The virtual teaching model was very efficient as all teachers were pre-customed to the online teaching model and no classes were missed. The difficulty of individual papers was neither much hard, nor too easy. Students having an average grasp of bachelor's knowledge pass this course without much difficulty thanks to helping from the teachers.

Currently studying this course and have not yet applied for any placements. CDS Support and Superset facilities are provided to update profiles about resumes and project work so that companies can find candidates easily.

For the School of Basic and Applied Sciences, students become eligible for job placements right after the completion of their Master's program. Companies like T.C.S often come for job recruitment at Adamas University. Also, Information about other job placements is always notified to students through their respective university email addresses. Highest placement package - Rs. 6,00,000 to 10,00,000, Lowest Placement Package - Rs. 1,70,000, Average - Rs. 4,00,000

Fees and Financial Aid

M.Sc Physics requires fees of Rs. 1,80,000 for 2 years course duration. Scholarships are provided after the AUAT Online Entrance Examination, Students get a varied percentage of the application fees back as per the score on the test.

Campus Life

Adamas University is very intellectually festive and holds several programs throughout the year that can innovate and inspire more students to engage in projects regarding their curriculum. The libraries of Adamas University are situated in different buildings. All libraries have a sufficient variety of books on all topics and levels for students to get help at any moment. Libraries also notify students over mail regarding the availability of new books. Classrooms and Labs are very well developed, equipped, and customized for all kinds of functioning for both theoretical and practical work. University has its personal gym and sports center and is very active all the time. Robotics and A. I Club is present and invites students from all departments of science to participate in project works and also helps students through social media such as WhatsApp groups, for group activities.

Likes

Laboratories facilities are amazing as it is a premium institute. All the labs contains instrument which are available only in institute of national importance o
Faculties are amazingly qualified as well as friendly for solving your doubts
You get multiple opportunities for the industrial experience as internship. This institute provide amazing placement opportunities with high salaries.

Dislikes

The area of the campus is small leads to chaos. Which will be averted after shifting to new campus
Due to the small campus sitting places are very small
Hostel facilities and rooms are very poor.

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Likes

Well equipped laboratories with all necessary instruments and chemicals and whatever that is required. Even Electron microscope are available
Senior and Junior relationship is great, and PhD scholars often guide you in studies and in Life
Canteens, Playground, Books shops are near or inside the Campus with Department and Central Library with access to many books and online resources and WiFi

Dislikes

Politics is on peak since great colleges in india such as JNU are engaged in political activities
Attendance above 75 percent is mandatory to appear for exams
The duration of practical can be of 4-5 hours at a strech sometimes apart from Theory classes

Placement Experience:

Not all courses provides placements. But Placements are often common in departments such as Geology, for other departments, faculties can provide letters of recommendations and absorb as PhD scolars after PG completion and satisfactory performance

My thoughts on our beloved Sidho Kanho Birsha University.

Likes

The most I liked about my university is the infrastructure and availability of facilities for our studies.
Second thing I like are our professors . They help us in every aspect of our educational or personal life .
Third thing I like the most is my batchmates who gives me encouragement for pursuing my studies.

Dislikes

The university is a bit far from the Purulia city . So the connectivity is a problem.
I think if we get some extra hours of the lab facilities, that will be great.
Water purifier are available in some of the floors I think the number should be increased.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of our university is quite good and it is getting better day by day. Especially our chemistry department is doing great in this field. Last year our dept almost hit 100% placements and the highest package was of 5 lpa. I am planning to peruse my PhD after MSc.

Currently, Adamas University is the best ranked private university in the whole eastern india and ranks in top 10 in all over India. An honest review from 2nd year student

I went to another University namely brainware university Kolkata but there I didn't found all needful thing in sufficient enough like that don't have proper laboratory and field for agriculture practical work. So when I visited Adams University I saw that they have enough amount of land for practical work of agriculture and they have all those needful things which are needed for the agriculture and experiment moreover the university help us in every step in continuing our practical works so ultimately my rating to the university is 8 out of 10 Well the admission process is to take admission there conduct their own entrance examination in which we need to secure more than 55% to get admission and if we secure more than 85% then we will get 50% discount from 1st semester and many other offers like early bird or where we can get 20000 off ....Read More
