Course eligibility is based on 12th grade marks the cutoff is 95.5% The application form can be filled from Delhi university site and fees will be paid after admission through their web portal I haven't availed any reservation benefit The admission process shouldfasterfast by online verification of documents instead of physical verification.

I choose this course because it's my interest area The student-faculty ratio is very good there are enough faculty for all departments average class size is 55 The faculty are highly qualified and very professional Term exams are conducted half-yearly and are moderately difficult

Some startup companies, as well as multinationals, provide internship opportunities in college some names being dell technologies and do roles vary from company to company and the stipend offered is approximately 15000-18000 per month

Students are eligible for registration of placements from the 4th semester onwards Companies offering placements include Bain & Company, Delloite, JP Morgan Chase, etc The highest package offered is approx 18 lakhs and the average packiseing 6-7 lakhs Almost 55% of students appearing for placements got an offer My plans are to pursuea chartered accountancy course

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is moderate but high compared to other Delhi University colleges with average annual fees being 25000-30000. The college provides fairly good placement and scholarship opportunities forwell-namedd companies.

Campus Life

Annual fest Eminence is conducted annually is the month of February or March The college has a huge 3 floored library with a vast range of books Classrooms are spacious with projectors and good quality furniture Sports and extracurriculars are very good with sports facilities including cricket, football,volleyball, table tennis,shooting, etc There are tons of societies including academic and recreational which are very reputed among du colleges

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College: A Prodigy to Become!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the BCom Hons course curriculum at SBSC around 7 out of 10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. One of the main reasons I chose this course was because it offers a good mix of commerce subjects like Financial Accounting, Business Law, and Corporate Law, along with exposure to Economics and Management, which seemed useful whether I go for MBA or competitive exams later. The first-year subjects felt more like a base, but from second semester onward it started to get a bit more practical. Each subject has 25 marks for internals and 75 for the main exam. Most exams are 3 hours long and subjective, and I’d say the difficulty level is moderate. If you’ve been regular with notes and study the past papers, it’s not hard to pass, but getting 8+ CGPA requires consistent effort. Overall, the curriculum gives a decent foundation but it could be way better if more practical components and industry exposure were added.

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

SGGSCC: A Gateway to Knowledge and Opportunities

The admission process was through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). There were no Group Discussions (GD), Personal Interviews (PI), or written tests as part of the admission process. The competition for admission was intense, with a high cut-off in the range of 690-700 out of 800 marks, which made it quite challenging to secure a seat. To prepare for this exam I didn't purchased any course because ample amount of content is available free of cost on YouTube channels.
