I was selected on a merit base as at that time cut-off of this course was 90% for the general category. You are eligible for this course if you have got more than 90% marks in the 10+2 exam and if you have studied geography as a subject, if you did not study geography in 10+2 then a deduction of 2.5% is to be faced. I don't know why this college is so underrated, In my course, we have 4 university toppers ranking 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The course is new in college, my batch is the 3rd batch of the course and then to you can see such a great performance of students. The faculty is very strict regarding your assignment and test. Each and every student is the focus of teachers. Faculty dictate notes, take tuts and classes properly and you can not run away with tests and you won't get free marks. You will get marks according to your performance

There are several internship opportunities of internships there is one placement cell of SPMC which tells you about internships and placements and also about the inter college competions and projects .

fees range between 9-10k a year . It depends on the number of practicals you have . But you need to spent on files , on field trips etc as these are the part of practical subject. In this course you will learn a lot new things like recently we went on a field trip to Massoorie and Dehradun that to for survey data collection which was a whole new experience its cost was around 5200 for each student , we stayed in a 3 star property of 4 days and 3 nights .

Shrijan was the name of the annual fest which was in the month of April. In the library, you won't find many books related to geography as I said it's a new course in the college, otherwise, all the books are availble in the library. Classrooms have proper ventilation there are several societies in the college. Navrang that is the theatre society is the most famous one , recently they did a play named PEHLA SATYAGRAHI which was covered by ' Times of India' .
