I applied to a few other colleges such as VIT, SRM, KIIT through their entrance exams and got confirmed admission from each of them. I chose this college as the fee is relatively lower being a government college and better ROI in my opinion. My WBJEE rank wasnt good enough to get my desired branches in Jadavpur Univerity or KGEC which made me opt for this particular college. The admission here takes place through two ways- WBJEE counselling and Decentralised counselling. To get admission through WBJEE one need a decent rank ( around 9k) for the upper branches. For making it through decentralised counselling, one needs to do significantly well in their board exams. Admission experience is quite smooth. If anyone wants to get admission to this college they accept the West Bengal joint entrance exam. For CSE you need to rank at least 9000 rank. For IT you need at least 12000 ranks. For ECE you need at least 25000 ranks. For EE you need at least 45000 ranks. For Civil, you need at least 55000 ranks. And it is a semi-government college.
