T.S CHANAKYA is, in my view is a best college for joining merchant navy. This college has its many names and so the best companies too come in our college and and after the class time we can have lot of fun in ground playing football to cricket, have basketball badminton and tennis court for playing and are well maintained.

I gave IMU-CET, through this, student are selected for joining merchant navy college. I opt for this college because it is the best college in INDIA for taking degree in bsc. nautical sc.

Though being best govt college, many leading companies of merchant field comes in our college to take cadets.

Placement is overall good in our college.out of 122 cadets 110 got placed in our previous year. the companies package starts from nearly 750$ /month to 1300$/month varies according to type of ship wheteher bulk carrier or gas tanker.

There are many cultural technical and sports day that are being organised in our college. The name of our fest is XPRESSION. there are technical fest too in which cadets have to represent their model on variety new thinkings regarding merchsnt shipping. during our college fest nearby colleges and some ranked govt. college are also invited.they are NIFT MUMBAI AND IIT BOMBAY.

Fee structure is fine as thogh it has an annual fee of 2, 20, 000 excluding exam fee. But it gives lot of facilities as laundary is free, every year three types of shoes are provided - one for sports and other for class purpose. In this fee dresses are also included as we have to attend class in proper uniform.

Scholarship are available for OBCs and SC ST. loans are easily avialable as college provide their bonafide certificate for loan purpose. Moreover college provide documents for the passport too.

Campus life is awesome as our college is a fully residential college we all from different states stays togetherannd have lot of fun in rooms and on fields. We have grounds and courts for different games to have fun.

Hostel facilities and mess food are good, Room is alloted per 3 persons. Mess food quality is good. All the materials brought for food are of trusted companies.

Our college has very good alumini network. As every year they come to our college chat with us and share their experiences along with they have a committe who provide funds to our college for the development.

Exams are semesterly and notes have to be submittede at fixed time.Labs are held regularly. Practicals for exam are little hectic and though there are so many subjects exam continue for amonth.

Faculty are best in our college as every faculty were captains and had joined teaching to share their experience with us making us aware from worst to worst situation.
