Overall review

The admission process was quite easy basically I am a lateral student and got admission in 2nd year directly by giving an entrance exam JELET. The documents I had to show were *Provisional seat allotment letter *My rank card *My diploma semester result. The application form for this college is available on the college website itself.

Currently I am a Civil Engineering student of 2024 batch and I choose this course because of the designing architectural subjects. Overall this course is one of the main core of engineering along with electrical and mechanical engineering In each department, students range from 60 to 70. Besides that, we have got a very good faculty. Except for one or two everyone have completed their phd. We have 8 semesters and in the middle of each semester, we have one mid-term semester just like internal exams.

Yes internship opportunities is available in our college. The companies that offered internships are Wipro HCL,TCS, L&T and so on. The roles offered by them is like site engineer, Data manager, Assistant engineer and so on.

The fees structure of this college is quite high though this college is under a state University it has a fees structure of 39100 at the time of admission and 32100 for each semester. Yeah, it avails the opportunity of scholarships also like swami vivekanand and so on. And till now it has given 89% Campussing to the students specially CSE and IT students.

It has an annual function and tech fest. Besides that, the college campus is large with giving a facility of hostel for both boys and girls separately, a canteen and a playground for sports. This college is run by the UIT students Association.

For boys, we have two hostels inside the college campus itself and for girls, they have 1 hostel. For 1st year students, the hostel allotted them is outside the college campus with a walking distance of 15min. The boy's hostel have G+3 floors with a canteen and 20 rooms on each floor. And in one room three students can stay. The hostel rooms have bed tables fans light broadband connection and a water purifier too. The meal quality is decent and they charge 50per meal. The meal consists of both veg and nonveg dishes. The registration process for a hostel is quite easy and affordable.
