Remarks

Eligibility is as instructed. And nowadays everything is available online on the college's offline website which includes the application form, application fees, and application dates. Yes, reservation benefits are there which you can take advantage of if you belong to those groups. More clear instructions during the admission process. Also, the admin staff should be more helpful. Otherwise, everything else is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course for myself because it was the best option available at that time and it still is. The faculty and student ratio is perfect as faculty are facing no problem dealing with all the students. The faculty is very qualified and their teaching method is also good. Exams were very timely and it was not at all difficult to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

Internships with stipends were offered by many companies like textbooks, HDFC, etc. The task I was given was of managing the work of a particular level which I thought was quite satisfactory and I did accept a lot of internships offers because it's never a bad decision to do an internship because it obviously improves you.

Placement Experience

From around last year, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies that visited were HCL, Dell, and wave, there were a lot of offers made. I don't remember the highest package but yes the lowest was around 250000 p.a. , and the profiles offered were of assisting manager, manager. Percentage of students getting placements is around 60% . My plans after getting the degree is of higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike policy is totally normal as it should be and its cost to study is also not that high. I did not get a scholarship but yes there was an opportunity for a job that got on campus with a stipend but then I declined that opportunity because my aim right now is higher studies and not a job.

Campus Life

Annual fests used to be held mostly in the month of March as I recall. Our college library was amazing, a large variety of options available. Amenities in the classroom were also good including a projector facility. Also, there were facilities for sports and extracurricular activities on the campus like basketball, football, volleyball, kabbadi, etc. And Yes there were clubs and social groups or societies run by the students which included drama society, dance society, singing society, art and craft society, etc.

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that great but decent. Mostly placements are good in the north campus but still my college provides decent placements. However one has to maintain their academic score for the same and be consistent.

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others.
