Remarks

At the time of my admission process was based on both merit and entrance test in du. I gave also the entrance for bba and business economics but I pursued for b.com hons on merit-based but now du announced for cucet for admission in du for pursuing b.com hons you should pass in mathematics subject in 10+2. You go through the concerned du site for checking the application form and fees and application dates. Sc/st/obc get some relaxation for taking admission at my time but know if having cut it depends on du.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

B.com Hons is a certificate course of 3 years and 3 years divided into 6 semesters each semester of 6 months and professors are Ph.D. holders and our college faculty is very nice and our college infrastructure average and a new building is constructed and I think it's open my 3rd year. I pursued b.com hons because I am a student of commerce and I want to know more in my field and who wants to become a ca he/she should take this course because of ca and b.com Hons syllabus are similar. In my class range per teacher is 80 and this course exam will be average and difficult. This course has more opportunities for the student.

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes, our college offers internship opportunities to students but the stipend they give is not so high. Companies come and teach students about their work. They assign works like data entry and assistant engineering.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement at our college is not so good but the average package offered here is 4 LPA and almost 70% of students got placements who enrolled in the placement cell. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good job.

Fees and Financial Aid

This course in my college will completed under the 30k which which is very cheap comparing other colleges of du. And our college will also provide scholarship for the excellent students and our college organised many competitions and winner get exciting prizes . And Sri Narain Nigam Memorial Scholarship Three scholarships, for the following categories of students obtaining the highest percentage of marks in the college in the second-year of University examination, Rs. 700 for a visually handicapped student, Rs.1100 for Humanities and Social Sciences stream including Psychology and Commerce stream but excluding B.A. (Hons.) Mathematics, and. 1100 for Science stream including B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics.Ved Kumar Gupta Memorial Scholarship One scholarship of the value of Rs. 1100 to a student securing the highest percentage of marks in college at the second year B.A. (Hons.) University examination in Political Science. Kumar Shubham Memorial Scholarship. Four scholarships for the following.

Campus Life

3.5

Our college library is the biggest library in all over du colleges. Our college is ragging free campus there are approx 19 societies in our college. The different society organises their own fest. And the library is good you can study there in your free time and there are a lot of books you can refer to for your course. And for each course, there is a different compartment in the library that you can use in your as study material. There's a new building constructed in our college but it is not open till now but soon it will open and the dead building is the biggest building in whole Du campus. They are different societies in which you can participate as your interest. There is a friendly nature on the campus and the students are also good and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
