Remarks

The simple eligibility for applying here is that the student must pass graduation(10+2+3 system) with a minimum of 45% marks. Students have to go through an admission test. Admission test form fill-up costs Rs 1000 for GEN/OBC and Rs 300 for SC/ST/PWD. The merit list will be published based on admission test scores. Above 80 marks are needed out of 100 minimum for getting a chance as competition is very high. If two students get the same marks then Graduation Hons marks will be a deciding factor. The more marks you have got the higher your chance. In any case, admission test and Hons percentage marks are the same HS marks will play an important role. Yes reservation seats are available

Among them 23 seats are for general candidate, 16 seats are for OBC, 9 seats for SC, 4 seats for ST and lastly for EWS 6 seats are reserved. We have around 12 faculties for post graduation. Course Curriculum Overview:

So, we read great authors like Mulvey, Kafka, Eliot, Plath, Toni Morisson amongst others. The works provided a deep insight on the working of the world, how brutal and harsh the reality is and how we can overcome these. The course helped the students in the humanitarian understanding of human and emotions which I guess is lacking in today's world. The exams were held after 3-4 months for the semester

Course Curriculum Overview:

This university has a widespread name for generations and so the courses taught here must be for not only students' academic excellence but also for their personality building. My course 'Political Science' has created my kin interest to study the subject in later life and when it comes with the name of Presidency University, it always offers better prospects for students. The faculties are very co-operative, responsible and student friendly except few in our particular department. The faculty-student ratio is 3:50. Most of the faculties believe in teaching in unconventional method, so they organize experimental modes for Internal assessment, exams and teaching courses. However the university has its biggest problem hidden in its untimely routine of completing syllabus and conducting exams or internals. Term exams are conducted just before the exams which is inconvenient, however the exams in our department are not too difficult to pass. The faculties give pass marks to all students.
