Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course provided is really appreciated. The presence of Archaeology is a bigger change in the mind. This helps the young mind to adapt for the future perspectives. Every course provided is unique in its own way and will be effective in gaining knowledge about the past .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable and the hostels are provided in a very low fee. The university helps in applying for scholarships so that students don't face financial burden. Swami vivekananda is the most prominent scholarship provided.

Campus Life

3.5

The university takes care of the cultural programs held which includes Anandbazaar , Basanto Utsav , any Departmental programs and students are given freshers and farewell. Every program held jn Visva bharati is a ceremony in itself. The vibe , aura created is a much experiencable moment. A number of books are available in the library and can be issued for one month. Inter Departmental events take place occasionally.

Admission

For applying in any course ,you need to have a specific background for the course you are choosing. Foreg: for AIHC&A, you need to have have a background of history to qualify. We all gave the CUET as our entrance for admission in Visva Bharati. As for now , an entrance exam is held for admissions in Visva bharati , that is conducted my visva bharati itself. The exam timings are reliable and enough for completing the answers to the questions provided.

Faculty

4

The faculty members in our department is very cooperative and is willing to help you when in need. Every professor specialises in some or the other part of the field and this helps us gain knowledge in a more vivid and broader manner.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

For pursuing Post graduation students never have to appear in any entrance examination. I passed my graduation from this college in the English department securing 65% of marks and hence choose this college for postgraduation as well.

Remarks:

The program of distance learning from University of Kalyani is the best Distance learning program at that I have ever come across. The distance program provides all of the facilities same as any regular program which makes it a wonderful option for all of the student who cannot afford to go to college regularly.

Remarks:

I am both positive and negative marks started with positive the factories where very good well well qualified there is no ragging the environment is eco friendly people very helpful there is no senior junior bond everyone is equal. The negative were enormous starting with the infrastructure in some places there are new buildings halls which are not even maintained and that's the biggest problem facilities are not given to student in the hostel so much carelessness is there in the routine work people are very lazy to do their working time authority is very slow to do their workrecreational activities other than academics are very less a student didn't get the time for recreational and facilities were also not there I come modern infrastructure universities should be so we have to change this things to do the university prosper in the later year in the first and foremost thing is determination a that everyone should give efforts to make our university Pride and worthful.
