Remarks

This course is available for PCM compulsory subjects and WBJEE is the entrance exam that is compulsory for getting admission. The application process is given in detail on iem.edu.in. After the declaration of the WBJEE result, the admission process starts. After all the admission process is good enough.

I've a keen interest in technology. IEM ranked 3rd best engineering college in West Bengal after IIT Kharagpur and NIT Durgapur by NIRF(National Institutional Ranking Framework) and 79th all across India, where all IITs, NITs. IEM has won the "The Jewel of East" by Telegraph and "Picture Perfect" by ABP group.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities were provided mostly using Internshala from the first year. During placements, many companies provided internship opportunities with a minimum stipend of 15000. I haven't achieved any internship opportunities as I am a first-year student.

Placement Experience

There are Summer, Winter internships, and final placements for the students. In 2021, the average salary came up to INR 8.5 LPA and the highest salary was INR 13.6 LPA. The placements records show a tremendous increase in the average salary offers from the past years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee of the college is Rs589000 lakh. There is no scholarship when you enter the college but after the first year, your CGPA decides the scholarship. The job offered by IEM is Amazon, TCS, Wipro, and many others. A maximum of 93% of students were placed in this college.

Campus Life

Tech fest happens in our college but as of now, we know that covid 19 is prevailing so w didn't experience any fest till now. Many international seminars are organized by our college on the online platform. Our library is full of books and the book issue process is also very easy. Classrooms are full of amenities and everything is well maintained. There are many social groups clubs run by students.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. Review of My IEM University

When I was searching for the best college to get the admission, some people told me to try for Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) and after I got admitted to this college, I really understood that I selected the right college. I will always prefer this college because discipline is strictly obeyed in IEM and all the teachers are like parents. In 2019, admission was going on offline and it was held around the month of July. This year, due to covid pandemic, the admission process was held around the month of October and from 2nd November, online education started for the first year batch. According to me, the one and only bad aspect is that every semester, Rs. 65,000 is to be paid by each and every student to continue with their education which is quite high according to me.
