For pursuing b.com hons in my college applicant has completed his 10+2 from any recognised board with maths as a main subject Notifications for the admission were released by University of Delhi on its official website followed by cutoffs if individual clears the cutoff of any particular...go to that college and takes admission Seats are reserved category wise and cutoffs are also category wise.

I choose this course because it provides me specialization in graduation itself...my specialization is in finance Faculty student ratio is near about 1:70 in particular section. Faculty are awesome and really helpful and kind in nature.All faculty members are ph.d with 5-15 years experience that shows their knowledge level and teaching level itself. Each subject has its own professor. Faculty teach us the subjects with the help of live examples and case study in classes They teach us in the manner that makes us job ready. Exams are conducted in semester modes with cbcs system which allows student to choose their subjects Exams are conducted timely by University. Exam level is moderate to high and question paper consists mainly praticals questions with less theory questions which makes exam tough for those who did not give proper and regular time to their studies. But currently exam are conducted in online mode obe (open book examination) due to pandemic.

Lots of internships are available in job fair organized every year with different roles different stipend . All you need to clear eligibility or selection procedure and internship is yours. Cdial, ufaber edutech, hdfc are some big mncs who came to my college and select interns for their companies. Some common roles offered are HR executive, business development executive, account executive etc. Some interships are unpaid as well as mostly are paid internships having stipend upto 14-15 thousand per month. I also done HR executive internship with cdial where i have to call the candidates and take their interviews and makes the final list of all selected candidates and send it to my seniors. I have learnt lots of good experience in internships that how to interview candidates, how to select them,means all about the job profile of a human resources persons.

Top campanies visited my college is genpact,hdfc,barclay bank,newyork life insurance ltd,wipro etc Top package -9 lakhs per annum Average -2-3 lakhs per annum Role offered - consultant, business development associate,accountant, financial advisor etc. Approxly every year 40% grabbed job offers and 50 to 60% got internships for their preferences. Students from 1 st year or 2 semester is eligible for internship but for jobs only student from final year can apply. My plans after my graduation is to join Indian armed forces which is my childhood dream. Last year a girl from b.com hons grabbed 6.5 lakhs per annum placement in genpact as a consultant which is highest package of that year.

My total college of all three years is 35000 approx which includes examination fees as well that means if divide the total fees into yearly wise than it is 11000-12000 per year which is a affordable and student pocket friendly fees. There are lots of scholarships are available for meritious students department wise but Special scholarships is available for minority students and girls students under sc st scholarship scheme and financial assistance to girls scheme by govt. College also provides internships with good stipend in Job mela organised every year in College campus. Approxly 60 % students got internship as per their preferences

My department organized an annual fest of commerce every year named as aadab fest like all departments . Science department and arts department also organised their own departmental fest commonly known as science and arts department fests. All fests are organized in month of july and august every year. My college has the largest library in whole delhi university consists of 2 lakhs book. My college library has 15+ newspaper's subscription such as the hindu, indian express, Hindustan Times etc with some business and competition magazines such as partiyogitadarshan etc. My college has its own magazine named as the earth heaven My college has tabletennis room for indoor games and a playground for football, cricket. Our college football team stands top in whole university as well as participated in many district and University level. College also have some active societies such as tarang music society,suchitra arts and culture society, commerce society, ncc,nss etc.
