Remarks

The admission process at my batch was on a merit basis which is now changed to the entrance test. This method will help deserving students to get admission. The admission desk of Deshbandhu college is very helpful and you will not find any kind of difficulty while contacting them.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to go for competitive exams that is one of the reasons and also I wanted to study Economics and mathematics that's why I opted for this course. The college faculty is excellent and highly qualified as well as well-trained. Term exams are on a 6-month gap and it is not that difficult to pass if you put little effort into the classroom.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 10050 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many organizations and companies offer internships to our college students with avg stipend of 5000-6000. Projects are mostly related to Non-profit organizations. College societies also encourage entrepreneurship among students.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies that have offered opportunities to our students. Deshbandhu college is ranked at #6 in terms of most placements. Avg package is around 6-7 lakhs. Almost 25% of students get placements. I will not go for placement as I'm preparing for competitive exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, the fees are not very much and the college has also provided special facilities to the needy students. Although I didn't get any kind of scholarship or financial assistance because I haven't applied for any but one of my batchmates got one.

Campus Life

The annual fest is 'Sabrang' and it is mostly organized in autumn. I was astonished to see so many celebrities in it like Neha Kakkar, Darshan Raval, Shaan and the list goes on. Deshbandhu college has the biggest Library at the University of Delhi. Our college has almost every sport but it is very famous for archery as well as NCC. It has many organizations like UBA, NSS, etc.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good.
