College Life

I got admission through cut off system. I scored 87% and reason I opted this college because of its location and connectivity. It can be reached easily not only from all corners of Delhi but also from the neighboring towns of Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Noida. Lajpat Nagar and Moolchand metro stations are close to the college.

It has eleven teaching departments,offering undergraduate course of the University of Delhi in the disciplines of Arts,Commerce, Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences. It also offers instructions in post graduate courses in four subjects Commerce,Hindi,Maths and Political Science.

College offers intership in various courses like bcom and english honours. Students easily get paid 5k to 10k for a month. There are a number of societies and academic associations in various subjects which organize activities both at inter class and inter college levels. This provides ample opportunities to our students to express themselves creatively,learn useful skills,broaden their horizons and indulge in a healthy spirit of competition.

We have a particular department for placement and job called placement cell. Recently IBM and RBS came to our college. In the present session only around 300 students were placed.

We have a lot more events. But mainly or I can say our most famous events are Exploranza for freshers talent hunt and Aaghaz our annual fest of college and many events celebrated in college.

It is very much feasible and college also give concession to economically weaker students. We have different criteria for each and every students. Students who cannot even afford tuition fee college give scholarships and total fee concessions to them. They provide 50% fee concession to SC/ST/OBC's students also.

The campus life is good. The college provide each and everything for the betterment of students career. They organise workshops and parties. They fund student for educational tours.

Exam structure are good. We have semester system. Its not at all hectic and we get proper gaps and preparatory holiday.
