College days

I had written CET exam for all engineering college affiliated to VTU university. I loved the infrastructure and faculty which impressed me to take this college.

It is good but I feel there is not more scope for electronics here. Most of them is IT field focussing on CS,IS,IT stream. We can opt this stream if we going for higher studies. But I was fond to be ECE so that's the reason I opted it. Would like to continue my career in electronics but I was not able to as I dint get more scopes.

No our college had not provided internship during our time. I am not sure if they are giving it now. There are many changes happening year by year to over come any cons.

There were 25 around companies visited. Some are as below TCS 3.16 Lac, Tech Mahindra 3 Lac, Dell 3 Lac, Infosys 3.16 Lac, Satva 2.8 Lac 60% were placed during 2013 batch which was less comparatively before batches and also poor placements during our time which were impacted.

There were numerous cultural events carried out for the entertainment purposes. Revamp was the annual day function where from all the college participants come participate in the events .Teacher's day, Alumini meet, Farewell day, Independence day, Republic day , Kannada rajostava, Sports day.

Fee structure were very moderate during our time. Government fees 15k, College fee :11k per year, This was plus point. They wouldn't charge fees for attendance shortage unless and until it was valid genuine reason. I got the seat as per merit list so was not more expensive.

There would be alumni meet during our academics but I didn't had more interaction with them. Seniors would guide us for exam preparation and during placement giving knowledge on how can we crack the exam.

I selected this college according to my ranking and opted for ECE stream which I wanted to take. Process was given all the photo copies from past studies, hall ticket, entrance exam any specific copy needed. DD drafted to registra Belgaum with the fees as mentioned.

Faculty are more helpful. Not like top colleges where students take admission for just getting placement where teaching is poor and students learn by them self's. They give any notes required too for the preparation of the exams and also helpful for internals which they conduct 3 times.
