Entrance Preview

I took the CET (common admission test). I chose the college because it had one of the best professor's and the placement given are the best. The college offers different courses including engineering, law, architecture, BA, B.COM .

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is mechanical engg. so it more of a practical oriented than theory. The other thing which is very important is that ,the student should be very good in maths and physics, as many subject require maths . The first year of engg is a generalised year in which every student studies the same subject irrespective of the branch.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides the internship in good companies. Many of the student have internship done from HAL, ISRO, BOSCH etc. There is no stipend facilities available.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement's are actually very good and the best among bangalore. Many companies visit the campus including both IT and mechanical companies. Last time Infosys, tcs, capgemini etc visited. Companies like bosch, L&T, Aur watch etc visited for mechanical student. The highest package that is provided is 12 lakhs.

College Events

3.5

There is on fest the college celebrates every year and it's called "REVAMP". The fest is a national level techno-cultural fest. It has both technical activities and cultural activities. Many students from different colleges visit the campus during the festival. The cultural activities occur during the evenings .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is about 50 thousand per year if you join through the CET and the management fees is quite expensive. The management fee is 5 lakh as donation and yearly it is 1.8 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there is a scholarship that is provided.the student who are very good in academics get a scholarship every month which 1000 rupees. I am sure about the loans provided.

Exam Structure

The exams are conducted twice a year in the month of December and June. The lab exams and the theory exams have sufficient gap between them. The theory exams also have well gap between them so that the student can study . The labs generally happen for 6 hours a week. And the theory classes generally happen in the morning so that the student is in a good and captures everything that is taught.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are the best. Many of the faculties are phd holder. There approach to the subject is very good. The faculties are very friendly. Apart from clearing doubts during the class, they also hold a special session only for clearing doubts. The department encourage u to take part in different competition.

Placement is good, every student who tries to get placement will surely be placed in campus placements, but off campus would be difficult as this cllg is a tier-3 cllg, so many companies reject in resume shortlisting. Maximum every CSE student will get placed but max of them would get placed at an offer of 3.5 or 4.5lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.
