Remarks

I love the location, structure and faculty support of the college. One thing that must be taken care of is the sports facilities like a basketball court and tennis court. Admission for BSc. Courses are merit based and for BMS and BBA FIA it is entrance based. I have chosen this college for its remark and experienced staff and beautiful vicinity. I read about the college for CollegeDuniya and the school website itself and was very much satisfied with its status.

I had to take a course that would enhance my skills in the field of Actuarial sciences and this course is best suited for those seeking a career in Analytics and Stats. The faculty is really good and supportive. All the teachers are highly qualified in their field. All have the rank of professor.

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities in different courses and fields like we have students doing internships in Decathlon and Trends for sharpening their marketing skills. Some have got opportunities to work with professionals of Hindustan Times, Indian Express etc.

Placement Experience

After semester VI everyone is eligible to apply for placements in big MNCs and Organisations like Nike, Microsoft, Delloite, Goldman Sachs and so on. The highest package is 24 lakh per annum and the average package is 15 lakh per annum. About 80 % of the students get placed easily and the rest have also a good chance to be placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

During the pandemic even after the college was not organising physical classes, they provided many internship opportunities and there were many scholarships also but unfortunately, I missed them. I was a proud intern at Metvy Learn.

Campus Life

There are societies for every kind of student and each society has its own style and methods. Some of the famous ones are NSS, Kritika, Kalamkaar, Manchan, Literary society, Robotics society. All the society have their own incharges and volunteers.

Hostel Facilities

The locality is very healthy and energising there is very clean roads and metro os also at walking distance from the hostel and pg. The college has its own hostel separately for boys and girls that too with sports arena and mess.

Interview Experience

Most of the courses provide admission through merit. But some courses like BBA(FIA) and BMS are provided on the basis of the entrance exams. There is another course BA Economics Hons. which is an entrance based course.

Life at LSR as a Maths Student

Placement Experience:

We become eligible for placements in our third year (so the fifth semester). We can sit for internships before that. Many prestigious companies visit our campus, including McKinsey, HUL, BCG, BlackStone, BlackRock etc. The highest package offered in DU history is from our college (and my course!) which was 48.9 lakh p/a by BlackStone to a student in Batch of 2024. The average package is 10.5 lakh p/a. There were 215 final placement offers. My plans after the degree are to enter the world of finance or consulting, hopefully. I am also open to higher studies or an MBA. Maths H keeps a lot of doors open.

placement in science courses are very rare however almost all student of science courses do get internship at Sri Vipra [a research unit of sri venkateshwara college, delhi university] and some other institute including AIIMS, JNU etc. most of them opt for higher studies or prepare for Govt exams. people from commerce and economics ido get placed but not all.

Practical approach towards future: Ramanujan College

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship in the first year or the second year itself, and for the placement, the student can sit in the third year onwards. Students are eligible to sit for placement after having a significantly higher attendance, good score and a great practical resume. as far as I have observed, most of the job offers are around 4 to 5 LPA. There are a number of companies that hire from the college and the students can also apply off campus if they have a good CV. Many small and big companies higher from here, for example ferns and petals, Deloitte, bookMyShow, accenture and many more. The highest, and the lowest packages have not been disclosed clearly, and the percentage of students has also not been declared clearly. As far as I know the placement rate is pretty decent If the person has a good resume, which can be anything around 70 to 80%. My plans after getting the degree are not crystal clear to me, but I plan on doing masters in the same field from a good university, maybe abroad and then make a career ahead. Meanwhile, I also plan on doing several internships to build my resume and learning both hard and soft skills.

I not applied any other college. The Admission process was easy for me just because i've searched alot about everything. Secondly , As i say about my college which comes under Delhi University , it takes the Exam of CUET and based upon its marks hey give the admission. CUET consists of many subjects and courses according to the college or program you want to apply. You can find the Link on Google for the CUET exam , the application fees and dates changes accordingly every year.
