Remarks

UIT Burdwan is affiliated with the University of Burdwan and it Approved by the AICTE, UGE and NBA. The institute offers an undergraduate programme in B.E under 6 specialization and postgraduate in ME under 2 specializations. admission into BE programme is on the basis of WBJEE and lateral entry is granted on the basis of JELET EXAM. For ME admission is granted on the basis of the GATE exam. UIT also offers scholarships to its student. the placement scenario of UIT Burdwan is decent. TCS, Wipro, IBM like companies are coming for recruitment.

Course Curriculum Overview

For undergraduate students, they offer cources that are approved by AICTE. I was an information technology student and my faculty member are helping me alot they give us many project and they helps us to do them which helps me my interview.and at the time of the exam, the ques was asked only from the notes which were tought by the techer in class.

Class Size: 365Course Fees: INR 27050 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

it was a semi govt college so the fee was quite low in comparison with private college the fee we have to pay was 27050 per semester (exclude hostel fee). and our college also provides some scholarships for the minor students.

Campus Life

In our college, their life was too good especially at the hostel life was good. There are one annual fest and the fresher welcome ceremony was held. There are many books in our library and a regular newspaper was also provided by our college and also there was a playground insided a campus in which we play cricket footboll the senior was orginised tournament for junior student.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).
