My college life

Best for punjabi only. I recommend look for iits/nits. Be strong by yourself. Everything here is a self survice. U will learn many things specially experience of Engineering but you will not learn much about engineering if you join this institute.

JEE MAINS, 105 MARKS. I haven't prepare much for JEE as I didn't want to waste 1 year in preparing for JEE. I got this college via JEE but to be honest I have no idea how i fill this college also in csab. I never hear about this college before i join here.

I can say it is not a good college if you really want to learn something but it is better than private colleges. It is a gfti (govt. Funded technical institute) comes under MHRD. They offer B.E Degree.the exams are too easy to pass and here is not a good environment for a studies.

Very few i must say. Again i will not prefer this college in this case also. Some of a speaker come and interact with student but not as the student need in his/her life.

Since the college is far from any city no company wants to come here. (18km away from nearest railway and 150 km away from airport.) I have a very less opportunity to get a job here and if i get a job then it must be as maximum as 5-6 lakh. Only few student place this year and last year also. We celebrate many hindu pujas and also punjabi sikh festivals. We also celebrate tech fest and maduram. Tech fest is a technical festival which is celebrate in every college i guess. It is a festival where u can show your talent in every field like technically and non-technical also like singing, dancing etc. Maduram is a cultural festival an its a waste of time.

Very feasible i must say. Its a 26000 per semester only and mess fee of 2300-2400 per month. It is very less compare to nits,iits, and most of the private colleges also. Admission fee of 10000 also. They will also take a refundable caution money of 15000 combine of academic and hostel.

For category students they will get scholarships from government via national scholarship portal and for general they have to manage by themselves. Loan you have to manage and u have to concern with a bank branch.

Gender ratio 1:10 g:b which is very common in engineering colleges specially in govt institute. Campus is huge (350 acer). Greenery everywhere.Many fighting between punjabi/non-punjabi, deploma/degree. Girl hostel close at 7:00pm in summer and in 6:00pm in winter(I must say hell for girls and also boys too).

Very good hostel which we have to share among 3 student in first-third year and in final year you will get individual room. For pg its individual rooms also. About mess its good and it also provide good food(some times bad also.. i mean few many time times specifically dinner).

Not a helpful at all. Since this college is UGC recognized(anti-raging) no interaction is held between us. U have to be strong by yourself. No one will help you not even teachers too.

Its good. It's very easy to clear the exams. Exams held frequently and thats good for studies. About lab- like nits labs are very good and well equipped.they allow student to perform as freely as they can. The department of mathematics are very strict. Attendance requirements is 75% mandatory here

Not upto the mark but not a worst also. M.tech is compulsory for facilities. Most of them are inexpensive actually many assist. are temporary here. Very few professors are here. At my graduation time most of the lecturers are assistance professors. Few professors are good with very good knowledge and they also share their experience.
