Remarks

Admission procession was easy. You can not apply online you have applied through of line after counseling. If you got selected they will upload a list on their website. to take admission you have to pass 12 or a diploma. if you are going after 12 then you must have PCM with an average of 50% marks and clear WBJEE with a decent rank. If you take admission after diploma then you have to clear the JILET examination with a decent score. The college semester fees are decent not so high 35k/ sem. nowadays. The hostel is good and the college campus is student-friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose information technology because the faculty is excellent they are always ready to solve the student's problem. The placement of the IT department is better than another department. Every faculty are highly qualified and the exam happened 3 times/semester. 1) 1st Internal after first 2 months of the sem. 2) 2nd internal after 1months of 1st sem. 3) Final sem at the end of that sem. The question is decent good in internal but the sem question is quite tough/

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are a general candidate then the fees will be near about 35k/sem.but the college provides some scholarships like Half fees who are economically weak. placement is a medium not so high percentage. But some startup visits our college for placement.

Campus Life

Annual fest organized sometime in your 4 years of journey. Books are available in the college library and the best thing you can get is the daily newspaper in 2 languages English and Bengali. The sports culture is not so high but sometimes students show interest but all sports are available in this college. There are some clubs in college like a coding bird and many more. If you join the club you can enrich your coding skills.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).
