I left ruparel college because the college doesn't has fests but mithibai is best college on the basis of fests and you can enjoy a lot of events and can get lot of exposure to different types of event and there are various departments in mithibai which can enhance your growth but one problem which can be a major issue for a student in mithibai is attendance if your attendance is below 60 % you will be debarred for whole one semester and your one year is wasted so mithai is strict in terms of attendance and faculty of statistics is good and you can get admission in mithibai if you have 60 percent and above and it has a good library and the exam is taken every month like 1 internal 2 internal and then semester and these process is continued in all semester and if you are an average student and if you want to enjoy life and academic and want everything then mithibai college is best but one major issue is attendance so best of luck for joining mithibai college and one of the biggest festival
Course Curriculum Overview
A statistics course is good and the department is also good and head of the department is rajwadkar sir and the best thing is that he teaches statistics and probability portion very nice and another good professor is Raju sir daksha mam manjiri mam so you will enjoy studying statistics with these faculty and notes provided by them is superup.
Internships Opportunities
I don't remember how much company came for placement and internship but the college provides the internship from the first year itself and there is a separate office for that and the main professor for internship and placement is nainsh kholi.
Placement Experience
From the fifth semester, you become eligible to apply for placement but the major company which comes for placement is a marketing-based company and sometimes for uxi design and if you are lucky then sometimes a good company aslo vists mithibai is only college in Mumbai who has placement cell.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for 1 sem is 8000 and the second sem is also 8000 and the third send is also 8000 and the fourth semester is 7500 and five-semester is 8000 and end semester is also 8000 and there is no fees hike only they 50 rupees extra of application fees.
Campus Life
Mithibai college's major festival name is kshitiji festival and there are a lot of other minor festivals of various departments and the month in which kshitiji happens is December and preparation starts from June itself.
