Entrance Preview

You got to have decent 12th Board Examination Marks to Enter in to DCAC in good courses. After the Board Exams, they will publish the cut off list like any other DU College which will decide whether you can take admission in college or not

Internships Opportunities

No internship is provided by the college how ever at the end of third year companies do come to recruit and offer a handsome salary to the students who fit their criteria.

Placement Experience

3

They have a placement cell, Placements have been very good in my year and the good amount of salary is being offered to students who fit the criteria of the company. In my time salary of around 6-7 Lakh per annum was offered to a B.Com Student, now it could be higher also.

College Events

5

DCAC is famous for its fashion team, in my time the fashion team won lot of competitions. Apart from that every year they have a music festival and also a fresher party is organised for the freshers. Round the year some event or the other is happening to make your college life interesting

Fees and Financial Aid

No I did not avail any scholarship or loan facility but however one can check the site of DCAC to know about the same.

Campus Life

3.5

The Gender Ratio is almost equal, the crowd is very good as compared to any other Delhi University college. The best part about the college is there is no active politics in college as it does not come under DUSU. There are lot of cultural events and therefore there are societies for that. Like i used to be in the music society, then there was fashion society.

Alumni/Alumna

DCAC does have an alumni network, they keep conducting these alumni meets where one can go make social contacts , be in touch with other alumni and take their help.

Exam Structure

The exams are divided into two, The internals and the externals, Internals are the one which the college conduct and the externals are the one which the university conducts, they both happen at the different time. If one has to score good in exams , he has to prepare both for internals as well as externals.

Admission

Once the cut off list is out, and if your 12th Board Marks are falling in the cut off list, you have to visit the college and fill the form there and deposit the fee. If you are no falling within the cut off take admission else where and wait for the second list to come out. Usually the First cut off is an exaggerated one. The college will keep on publishing the cut offs till the time the seats are filled completely.

Faculty

4

Excellent faculty, well qualified teachers and a very helping staff, classes take place regularly, professors are hardly absent. Apart from helping in studies the faculty is also active in arranging the extra curricular events also and always there to help students and motivate them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom that they offered was good enough to prepare one for the real world applications as various examples and field activities were also conducted by the college at that time . Teacher student ratio should be taken care of along with lethargic teaching methods like lecture method . Exams were held every 6 months and the difficulty level was easy.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell within the colleges but numerous are not dynamic and those who are dynamic do not offer great arrangements. As it were Srcc , LSR or St. Stephens offer pleasant placements. Most colleges offer arrangements between 3 - 4 lacs but over said colleges can give you situations with normal 8 lacs. But, I would prescribe you to not go for placements but higher things because it will increment your information and assist you to advance in your work and do it effectively whereas doing work fair after graduation will not allow you to regard merely continuously needed in the corporate world.
