Remarks

I had initially applied for Kamla Nehru College but I did not get my desired course there. The minimum percentage required for this course is 95% (best of 4). The candidate should be 18+. The admission process was pretty systematic and smooth. There was not even a single hindrance. All the login details for SGGSCC portal were provided before the commencement of classes. The portal itself is upto dated and has sufficient information regarding everything. There is an online library too for reference of books and previous question papers on the portal.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I wanted to have detailed knowledge of Accounting, Business Administration, Economics and Finance. Most of the faculty have a Ph.D. The difficulty level of the exam is medium. The college made the exam procedure very easy and ensured that everything was systematic and readily available for us during these unprecedented times.

Internships Opportunities

4

The Training and Placement Cell of the college is pretty active and on average provides 5 new internship opportunities daily. The internships are both paid and unpaid. Last year, the cell recorded 300+ offers from various companies in diverse fields of commerce.

Placement Experience

4

During the 2020 placement drive, 22 companies provided 166 offers, and 160 students were placed and the highest CTC stood at INR 9.6 LPA whereas the average CTC stood at INR 6LPA. Companies like Ferns n petals, Deloitte, KPMG recruit from SGGSCC. The placement cell recorded an impressive number of more than 300 internship opportunities in Diverse fields of commerce

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for this particular course is extremely justified. The facilities provided by the college are comparatively superior. The infrastructure is excellent. There are various scholarships and financial assistance programmes provided by the college. The placement cell of SGGSCC provides with good internship opportunities both paid and unpaid.

Campus Life

5

The campus is beautiful and there are ample hangout spots for students. There are 30+ clubs and societies which include cultural, academic, social work etc. societies. The college is equipped with smart classrooms and a two-story library which has previous year question papers and books for reference. There are a number of fests organised by various clubs to engage the students from inside as well as outside college.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for the placement drive. A lot of companies including high level and medium range companies visit the campus for recruitment. Some of the big names visiting the campus are BCG, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, EY, etc. Highest placement offered was 21,00,000 and average placement offered is 4,00,000. Most of the who sit in the placement drive gets placed. I plan on to doing my masters from Europe after my undergraduation.

Placement Experience:

The alumni network of hansraj is strong as it has been a doorway for many famous bureaucrats and entrepreneurs such as Naveen Jindal himself. The societies are very active as well which enhance real life skills of students which further helps them to acquire a job due to experience. The internship cell works for giving us access to prospective internship which starts from sem 1 too. The highest package stood at 36.5 lakhs . The placement cell of Hansraj is a student run cell that plays a huge role too . As I have said before , majority of students offered job (74%) were from commerce stream. The average package stands at 8.2 lpa and median at 7 lpa

I choose this course because I didn't get admission to Delhi University due to low marks. Faculty to student ratio is 1:30. The teaching method is fine and the faculties are good. Term exams were on time when I was there.
