Remarks

Because this is the best in the campus. The good aspects include teaching faculty, facilities like library, excellence in music and theatre. There are many famous people who have graduated from my college. Quality education is given priority here. I did my post graduation from here. For this, I cleared the entrance exam held by DU for admission in this program. On the basis of the marks scored in the exam, the colleges are allocated. I did the choice filling as well. My college was second on my list, and I got that. Usually, the admission formalities are done at Arts Faculty, Delhi University. Post that, you're directed to the college you're allocated for further process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well, English Literature is the best course according to me. It just broadens your vision, challenges your intellect. You study the works of great literary giants who have given valuable contribution in literature. There were around 20-25 students in each class. The teachers are usually PhD holders or are enrolled in the program. Not all teachers are best when it comes to teaching. Exams were held timely i.e. after every six months. There were four semesters in total. One has to study hard to score good marks.

Placement Experience

The college doesn't offer any placement, but DU organized a placement fair in which several companies participate and you can apply. I have seen many getting jobs through Central Placement Cell of DU.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is moderate. One can afford the fee easily. I didn't get any scholarship, so I have no idea about that. This course doesn't provide any placement. You have to apply for jobs yourself.

Campus Life

Life at campus is super cool. You get a lot of exposure. From attending fests to attending seminars, you get to learn and enjoy a lot. The library is good. At Hansraj, not many books and journals are available. But library at Arts Faculty has got everything you need.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed.
