Course Curriculum Overview

5

So my course Life Science is programme course which includes 3 core subjects i.e. Zoology, Botany, Chemistry. I chose this subject because the cores are interesting and are very helpful in exams like CSIR-NET , GATE, etc. There are 4hr labs per week for each subject which makes us learn new lab skills. The timining and frequency of exam is difficult because you require to conduct all the classes/ labs.

Internships Opportunities

2

I have no idea regarding this but there are some NGOs providing internships like Titli which is female reproductive health awareness foundation i guess, they provide unpaid interships as far as I know

Placement Experience

3

I don't really know about the placements but I think theyheard that they start accepting students mostly from 4-5 semester. My plans are that I might move to Europe or to East Asia for Maters or might stay in India for phD

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is same for every category excpet foreign students and PWD. Year wise fees is rs. 16665 University student welfare fees= 250 University Development fund=1200 University facilities and service charges= 1250 Economically weaker section support university fund = 2900 Tution fee = 180 College student welfare fund= 4408 College development fund= 7001 College facilities and services charges = 2176 DUSU charges = 0

Campus Life

4

The campus life is good but when the exams hit the campus becomes very quiet before a month itself. The annual fest is when the campus is most happy RHAPSODY. Otherwise there are society events, fresher, diwali mela. The science building are very nicely build and are equipped with very good furnitures and facilities.

Admission

The admission process is very easy to be honest. The university selection rounds are very student friendly too. I got maitreyi in second round and I went with it because of good review of it for science courses.

Faculty

3

The faculties are super approachable ( like the core subject ones ) not the other subjects I've had bad time reaching out to other faculties of AEC, VAC and SEC. There are 2 universities exams, they are on medium scale when it comes to difficulty level. Anyone can pass if they do jus by solving pyqs which I feel like is not good.

Night Life

1

There is no nighlife. If there's any fest it gets over before 6 except the annual fes. The classes also get over before 5:30 MOst of the students hangout in Satya Niketan or Nehru park. The locality is suoer safe as there are so many embassies there.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. As I am in the 1st year only so I don't have any information about the companies visited & the number of offers made. I also don't have any information about the highest and the average package as per the company and the profiles offered. I don't know the percentage of students getting placements in my college. My plan after getting the degree is complete a cybersecurity course and do some bug bounty programs.
