Hansraj College:My experience

The idea of solving questions you have never thought of really makes the course ive choosen thrilling..it really prepares me for real world in many aspects..they can improve the course curriculum if they could actually record classes and upload them online for the students to go and rewatch them..there is no problem with the exam being conducted twice a year and the difficult is mid to high so it really depends on the preparation of the students

The internship cell in my college helps us students clear out any doubts or problems with internships.. Many internships are provided to students who seek for it as they have to prepare a well documented CV of their pwen

After your third year students become eligible for campus placements..There are many companies who visited and have shown interest in our students such as google,microsoft,SBI and many more..The packages offered are very confidential but the percentage of students getting placements are higher than average even im planning to get placements after getting my degree from this college

i paid 31790 for my secong year admission which consist of 27000(tuition fees)1000(caution fees)1200(lab fees)500(admission fees)990(development fees) for other courses the fees are different like my batchmate from english honors had 22000 as her yearly fees there are very less options of scholarships for students.

The annual fest for my college is called confluence where many talented artist are invited to showcase their creativity and skills including many stalls for students amusement..The books and journals in the library are accessible to all students..The classrooms are equipped with air conditioners so that the students can get the best experience..Sports are also important in the college with its large field of games offered like football, basketball, hockey, archery and many others.There are many societies for students to take part in so that all students can get whatever they are most interested in.

There were many colleges i had applied for like kirori mal college,ramjas college,sri venkateshwara college and others but i choose my college since it is highly renowed with many reputed alumnis like Shah Rukh khan. I had actually achieved admission for every college i applied to but i remained firm with my decision The admission takes places through the Official DU website with your CUET results and the cutoffs are really high but the overall admission experience is really smooth

The faculties to student ratio is very poor and they are indeed approachable but very rude to us. They barely think of us as students but rather as nuisance ruining their important time. there are like 7 exams per semester which are mid to high key difficult some students fail to pass one or two subjects but not more than that.. the exam timing are very off it being placed in the blazing heat of july or freezing cold of january

The night life around my campus is blooming with it being closed to the famous kamla nagar market.. It has everything that students seek for (gyms cafes restaurants libraries and many other) Hostel and campus timings are regular from 8am to 5pm. Places like Majnu ka tilla in north campus are famous for hangout places which students go to so that they can relief academic stress or just chill with friends.
