Remarks

Students can take admission in Dairy Technology (B.Tech) through the WBJEE exam and ICAR exam. I belong to the general category so I don't have any quota. You take admission WBJEE rank and also decentralised counselling. Before counselling, you have to fill up the form and go to college for decentralised counselling.

I choose this course because I want to research dairy products. There is no one much more competitive with the other branches of engineering. In our faculty, teachers are so active and helpful so that we are so proud. We have our own University so that we pass all subjects easily.

Many students from our college get internships in many national and international industries. AMUL, Mother Dairy, Metro Dairy and other industries take our students for internships. There Dairy Technologist, Quality control officer and many other posts have for internship and we learn many varieties of work and we can get job after completing education during this internship.

Placement Experience

100% of students are gotten placement in the various dairy industry like AMUL, Nestle, Coca Cola etc. AMUL gives the best and also average package to the students. After getting the degree we can do M.Tech and PhD etc degrees from any Institute.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of this university is very low. Every semester we have to pay 6000 per semester fees and we all get a hostel easily because there have enough seats for students. The students get any government scholarship like Swami Vivekananda Scholarship and NSP scholarship etc.

Campus Life

Our campus is very good and has enough space to move freely. There is a library for books and many pdf for extra books. The classroom is also good for studies and teachers and too helpful. These sports are also available in our faculty and we are playing all of the sports and extracurricular activities. There are available social activities and groups for extra activities and also gave us a certificate for this.

Shaping My Future: A Comprehensive Review of College Life and Academics

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Placement Experience:

Here students become eligible to sit in campus placement from 6th semester. Many companies come here. The average package here is 5 lakhs and the highest here is 20 lakhs it's gone.Here 95% of the students get placement.My plan is to do M.Tech after completing my degree.

I choose the college because Dairy Technology is itself a thriving course and career and our university ranks second among all dairy universities. It also provides an satisfaction to study in Biology stream who cannot clear Neet exam. This university also provide free transport facility that isthrough its own University Bus from Kanchrapa station (nearest station) Mohanpur campus and from Belgachia University Campus to Mohanpur campus. Comparatively it also gives a well to do packages. The political intervention or political choas are not present which is a great problem to most of the universities in West Bengal and in India. It is one of the best colleges for BFSc course. First of all a online application has to be filled up, then a merit list is published by the university based on the 10 + 2 percentage of the students.
