Remarks
The admission procedure is very simple in the case of colleges affiliated with the University of Delhi. One has just to fill the form for Delhi University. That's it, one has to be updated regularly as after some days, cutoffs come for admissions as cutoff-1,cutoff-2, till seats fill for respective courses. Admission criteria for BSc(Hons) Computer Science are that student has to have appeared in SSC examination with Mathematics as a subject. On counselling day, the student has to bring his/her Govt. ID proof, Marksheets(Originals with some xerox copies) and Enrolment form.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason behind choosing this course was the stats of the IT industry growing day by day. The course curriculum is very good. Faculties are well qualified with ample experience and the course curriculum is also nice. Exams are not that difficult to pass if one gives attention to lectures.
Internships Opportunities
Regarding internships, a huge number of internships come for students based on the skillset of students. Roles such as Business Development Executive, Development, Analyst, Content Writer and much more comes.
Placement Experience
During the final year, students are eligible to sit in placements. But students can show their interest in Internships right from their first year. The highest package went for 7-8 lacs. While average package goes for 3-4 lacs. Companies like Deloitte, E&Y, Calvin Klein, Nestle and much more come for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Comparatively to other courses, the fees structure of this course is a little high as this is self financed course. Other courses fee lie around 10k whereas this course fee is around 32k-35k. Scholarships are for minority students and specially abled. Jobs are provided in this course as a proper Placement cell is there to cooperate with us.
Campus Life
Campus life in Delhi University courses is just awesome. The sociality, the environment students get is so good. Moreover. the college has 15+ societies in different fields. So, students can gather and enjoy apart from learning and enhancing their capabilities and skillset. College of Vocational Studies has an annual fest - "TATVA" which lasts for around 3 days. Musical bands, Singer and many more come to give their performances. Classrooms are not air-conditioned but the library is good, air conditioned, so much collection of books and magazines due to which one does not need to purchase books.
