I chose this college over other law colleges because this provides a good location advantage, and also it has a great reputation, also it provides really good future opportunities. This college also provides better placements than other colleges. Other colleges that were better than this college are national law universities, but I was not able to get admission there because my CLAT rank was not high enough to get admission. Students have to give an exam called CULEE to get admission in Christ, and eligibility is for anyone who has passed class 12th from a recognized board. I applied to Christ University, Delhi University, and Indraprastha University. Fortunately, I got into all three colleges. I chose Christ University because of many reasons. First, Christ is very strict about attendance. That is why, the teachers are also very sincere in attending and taking classes. Christ is known for its well structured and contemporary curriculum that provides theoretical and practical knowledge. Christ offers an overall holistic education such as various clubs, sports, inter college and intra college competitions. I am a part of the Nuts&Bolts Production in theatre wing. The campus is well maintained with modern infrastructure, lush green spaces, big libraries and recreational facilities. University offers global exposure with multiple internship oppurtunities. Christ provides a more organized and well rounded experience, which appealed to me. I didnt face rejection from any of the colleges that I applied to. The admission process is quite ardous and it is quite tough to get into Christ. First, we have to apply to the college and pay Rs 1200 for the application form. According to your location, you can choose where you want to give your interview. For certain courses, written exam is also a part of the admission process. If you clear that, you reach the interview level. In the interview, Two teachers interview you about how much do you know about the course that you are opting. Pros:Christ University provides the best ROI in terms of placements.The curriculum is very much similar to IIM pattern.I spoke to few seniors who provided me the insights about the curriculum which is based on practical assignments.Cons:The time management for students can be a challenge.There are rules in the college which sometimes doesn't make sense (eg dress code)The competition is unhealthy given the size of the student batch (700 in central campus and 250 in Kengeri campus)The entire process happened in January 2019 and the session started on 30th May 2019.I chose this college looking at the placement records which has been consistent over t years....Read More
