Got admission into this college after scoring in WBJEE examination. It is a good engineering college with well equipped labs under Techno India group of colleges. The college campus is very refreshing and surrounded by nature.

It was great to be a part of this. the course curriculum is well planned to give thorough knowledge of any particular subject/stream. Computer Programming labs are very advanced and well equipped. Lecturers are pretty good and helpful. They takes internal exams those are very helpful to grasp what has been taught in class.

As I have mentioned earlier , There is a serious need of change in training and placement cell dept. Hardly 1 or 2 company comes.They doesn't even give placement to 1/4th of the total students. Course curricular is good, as a result of this all of the student got placed attending Off-campus interviews in Bangalore/Hyd/Pune/Mumbai like cities. I believe the problem lies in College Placement Cell.

Its a bit expensive given the rapport and placement of the college. We had to pay a sum of Rs 40000 per semester as tuition + library fee. And the hostel and fooding was extra 24 thousand.The most irrelevant was the library fees which was 10000 per year, thats too much for 12 books an year.

They doesn't focus on alumni meet. We never get any info about when and which event is happening. They should start arranging alumni meet that would involves more ex alumni.

For B.tech course,Courses are divided into semesters with evaluation on the basis of credits, which allows for proportional weighting based on the course's importance. For each semester, grades range from 3 to 10. Semester evaluations are independent. The weighted average of the semesters is used to compute the cumulative grade point average (CGPA).

I had appeared for 2009 WBJEE examination. After results came out, i scored a rank to get admission to this college. Then there was a counselling procedure in KOLKATA. Went There and paid the admission fees. Then we got to know the classes starting date.

They qualified, although I personally feel this is an area where the college should put emphasis more. And the course should be more JOB oriented. The main priority should be organising more campus interviews and also job oriented training classes. There is a need of changes in training and placement cell dept.
