Remarks
I had pursued my MTech CSE from the IIT Kharagpur as one of my friends suggested that the institute was exceptionally good in terms of providing quality education services, theoretically and practically, placement records were significantly great with many students recieving handsome packages, excellent academic experience, global exposure, etc. My admission was purely based on the GATE score and scores in the last qualifying exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The MTech CSE programme curriculum focuses on improving the students to be industry ready so that they get placed in reputed companies. The concepts have been modeled to provide hands-on experience to the students. The faculty are highly qualified and articulate who provide a great deal of theoretical and practical knowledge to the students.
Placement Experience
The placement committee of the institute is dedicated and committed to groom the students to be industry ready and future-ready so that they meet the requisite job market demands and grab handsome offers. In the recruitment drive, around 276 offers were made to the students. And 5 offers exceeded to a whopping of crore marks.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the MTech is INR 232000 in total for a year and it is INR 4.43 lacs in total for 2 years. However, the students are required to pay for the accommodation facilities and mess availability. The institute extends financial support to the needy and deserving students by offering a wide range of scholarships and financial assistance which can also used a fee waiver during the admission time.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure of the institute is spacious and provides a comfortable student environment for the students. The institute is well-equipped with necessary facilities and amenities such as a smart classrooms with modern technological facilities, video conference facilities, 24x7 Wi-Fi facility, library with a collection of online and offline books, residential hostels and mess facility, sports ground, auditorium, seminar halls, etc. Throughout the year, many events and fests are conducted. Many clubs such as Dance, Music, Robotics, Art, etc are run by the students of IIT Kharagpur generating a plethora of opportunities for extracurricular activities.
