Enjoy your college life here and you can't ask for more

I was looking forward to all the colleges which are available for Psychology but I took admission in the very first list because knowing the fact that Shyama Prasad Mukherji College always gives University toppers, I couldn't ask for more. The alumni board is worth considering because the faculty that is available is amazing! I didn't have any quota for admission. The cutoff was 95% and I being a 97.5 percenter didn't go for any other college available because I knew that SPM is giving me what I need. As for the admission process, it's based on cutoff so no hassles. It was very simple and efficient for me.

Psychology has always been my passion and applied Psychology gives wings to that. You get to learn a lot. As for the faculty-student ratio, it's pretty good as compared to other colleges. We have 55 students in the class and other colleges have 75 to 150 students. So it's satisfactory. The faculty is amazing and teaches with passion. They're pretty chill about submissions but also very vigilant. They know what the students are upto. The exams are fine. Every subject has its own technicalities,, so one has to look for oneself. Just to point out that Applied Psychology is about researching so a different subject of research is introduced.

For the psychology stream, the fees are very basic for annual purposes. As for the job opportunities, we all know that even after doing a bachelor's in psychology,, a student is still a student. As for scholarship and financial assistance, certain programs are available.

The annual fest is amazing. Lush green gardens and a big campus. Since SPM is off-campus it has this big space. Best of all, it is near club road. So students can hangout when free. Has a big library which is a common and also a departmental library. Classrooms are spacious. As for co-curricular aspect,, it has various societies which are active and functioning. Exposure is considered to be really very good. For eg: the Artistry Society of fine arts and craft,, dance,, debate and Women cell as well.
