Remarks

The college management is very effective i would only say good about the college as personally even my views about this college changed after I took admission in it.

Entrance Preview

No entrance examination. I got through with the marks obtained in class 12th. I cleared the cutoff for JMC. And when I asked my seniors about the college and compared it to other colleges I found JMC had the perfect balance between academics and extra curricular.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is same all over Delhi University. And I am very hapy with the course structure. It covers all aspects from general to specific. A student who is confused between , say, HR or finance or marketing can make up their mind easily.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides opportunities for internship through the Placement cell of the college. The stipend varies depending on the duration and type of job. The average stipend is around 4K.

Placement Experience

4

Currently being in the 3rd year , i am experiencing the placements. Many companies come, indian as well as global. There are barious set of rounds which the interested students have to go through to be selected. The big 4 companies : KPMG, EY , Deloitte and PWC come as well. With the average package of 3 lac pa.

College Events

5

A lot of activities keep happening in the college. Right from department fests to the main college fests, DU sponsored seminars and guest lectures. Each department gets to hold its fest once annually so that each student gets a fair chance to participate. Whereas montage the annual fest is a big hit with over 3k students all over delhi coming to attend competition and enjoy the day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is minimal. Very feasible. The fees per year is around 11k which is fine. It includes maintenance, admission fee, academics , fund for our annual fest etc. Money is also used to make the infrastructure better. Food isnt included but very well available for the students in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college doesn't provide a lot of scholarships. but there are various financial helps which are available. The details for the same are given in detail on the website of our college.

Campus Life

5

Its a girls college so pretty much a carefree environment. Along with academic societies there are extra curricular ranging from dance to drama. So the student has a wide variety to choose from. Being a christian college, a special quota is reserved for the christians. Many workshops are held as well as guest lectures which are really motivating and informative as well.

Hostel Facilities

4

No hostel facilities are provided by the college. Outstation students live in PGs in the areas surrounding Chanakyapuri. Being in the central Delhi there jsnt much issue of findind an appropriate place as a lot of options are available. And transport is well available.

Alumni/Alumna

Not much interaction with the alumni. But my seniors who passed out are very helpful in every case.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is one exam on one day along with prep leave in between and before the exams as well. The structure is given by the Delhi University itself and is same for all the colleges in DU. It is a chilled our structure, maybe sometimes hectic but generally no issues.

Admission

The cutoff for the college was displayed on the website. You go to the college to collect the form. Fill it there along with a declaration and attach all your documents required. Documents were passing certificate, marksheet, class 10th marksheet, provisional certificate. You submit the forms and documents. Then go to the bank which is in the college premises itself. Submit the fees and you are admitted.

Faculty

4

Faculty is amazing. Everyone is pretty qualified and always ready to help you in every situation. The teachers promote discipline very strictly. You can go up to them for any issue and they will be more than happy to help whether it is related to studies or otherwise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom that they offered was good enough to prepare one for the real world applications as various examples and field activities were also conducted by the college at that time . Teacher student ratio should be taken care of along with lethargic teaching methods like lecture method . Exams were held every 6 months and the difficulty level was easy.
